Mr. Heinen is an excellent teacher with a great personality. Honors band does require additional work... yes, that's right. You actually have to make an effort to get an A in the class!

Heinen made me really enjoy band. He is really helpful. All you have to do is ask him. Just a great guy!

Heinen loves band and he'll bend over backwards to help you out. Honors band isn't the easiest thing, but you can deal. plus we play pretty good music too.
