Although she may be a ginger, she is a great teacher. The class gets sidetracked a lot, as she talks about her kids and other miscellaneous topics. But taking a class with her is worth it since she has an interesting teaching style.
She's more of a "learn from your homework not from me" kind of teacher. Often, we will discuss her kids' lives instead of what will be on the AP test. Few got 4s or 5s on test and many barely passed the class. If you are an independent worker and don't need a teacher, you will succeed.
she isnt the best teacher, she knows nothing of history and is not very clear and wastes way to much time in class
Doc is one of my favorite teachers. Took APUSH last year with her and it was my favorite class I've ever taken and I am not a history buff. Her teaching methods initially are difficult to catch on to, but once you do catch on to them, her class is smooth and clear. Last years class was a riot and we all love doc soooooo much
Definitely one of the best teachers at Amesbury High School, Mrs. Walsh is very funny and extremely intelligent. She is very passionate about history and gives challenging but manageable coursework.
This is a fine teacher. Her teaching style is captivating... usually I don't like History, but I couldn't take my eyes off the material. It was pretty hard, but she is great at helping to work it out.
I don't like history, and i'm not very good at it, but walsh makes it very interesting and easier to learn. My class sucks, but that's not her fault. She's Great!
Mrs Walsh is easily one of the smartest people in the high school. She's a fantastic teacher, and a wonderful friend. If you love history (and history jokes) you'll love Mrs walsh.
She loses big points on easiness, but oh well. I'm a history office assistant and Walshy is wicked random and funny. I haven't fallen asleep yet. I'm impressed
Any class where one can make curtain art during class with extra papers has to be a good class.
Wow! Was I lucky to get into this class-Walsh is the best.
Mrs. Walsh is the best! Take her AP US History course...it's hard, but one of the best at AHS. If you don't love Mrs. W, something is wrong with you.
