I was a student of his for 3 1/2 of my 4 years in high school; yes, a "drama" kid. He was always kind and encouraging, even if it meant encouraging you to take a different class. I was fortunate enough to learn stage crew, set building, play writing, acting and directing from him. I consider him a friend and mentor. If you show him you're trying & have passion, he's there for you. If you're looking for an easy A, sometimes you'll get it, but not if you have an attitude or entitlement issues.
I took his stage design class in freshman and sophomore year.I never took his drama classes, but I went to the Shakespeare festivals the school participates in.In Walt's class you'll always have a smile on your face unless you dont get his jokes, but you'll always have a great time.If you want to become an actor or actress and dont know much then get into Walt's drama class for beginner, maybe even go to festival, and if you like that go into the advanced classes i guarantee that you'll have fun.
Might seem intimidating at first, but extremely kind! a great teacher!
He's got a nasty temper, but is decent at heart. Sometimes a bit scary, but he's a good guy. Likes to promote theater productions from the drama club.
An amazing teacher. He would treat you as one of his own. His period 6, is like a whole big family. And they are open to everybody.
Walt is a great teacher. He is all about business. Which is always great in any teacher. He always has the end in mind. And he always has the time to help you. If you take his period 6 play production, he will shape you into an actor, and he will make sure you understand what you need to know. And he will not treat you lower than him, he would treat you like any other person he would meet. And if your a freshman going into his class he will make sure you feel welcomed. I' currently in his Per. 6.
great teacher. scary at first, but he's really cool. and he DEFINATLY knows what he's talking about. and i totally agree. drama students are cool except for some of the seniors.
great teacher. he knows what he's talking about. stop dissing on the drama students, all the really annoying ones are graduating this year
Self-centered. Lets his drama kids run the class. IF your into other students taking iver the classroom, join drama today.
Most incredible person I know. Not only did he teach about theatre, but he also taught about LIFE. Play Production will always hold a special place in my heart
MY FAVORTIE CLASS! Im so happy I got in to his adv. drama class!
great drama teacher. tends to be a little overpowering at times, but i'm glad to have had him all four years
