Mr. G is a very nice guy and is very caring for his students. He is not the best teacher though and is not good at describing things out.
Allright, I know that precalc isn't everyone's favorite subject. But Mr. G-although tough-is THE BEST teacher for the subject. If you're having trouble, go in after school. That's your only option! DB
I really think he's a cool guy, but his class was very hard. He is a great teacher though and will help you if you make the effort. I think he should teach college, because he is that good.
Mr. G is definitely a good teacher. He is always willing to help but you have to do things his way and his way only. No shortcuts on showing work ever. If you don't do homework his classes will impossible to get above a C in though.
You want to learn math? Take his class. Its not easy to get a good grade, but you're not going to forget what he taught you.
His classes were tough because of his detail-oriented grading system, but this prepared me VERY well for college. If you think Groskreutz is tough on grading, just wait until you get an abnormal calculus or statistics professor. Groskreutz was always well-prepared and quite clear at explaining things. I'm lucky to have had him, but at the time I was in his class I didn't think so, LOL.
He's a great teacher but his passion in life is taking off half points. Many, many half points.
One of the most boring teachers ever. His classes just go on and on. I don't know how I would have survived without my calculator games. His grading system was terrible. He takes off points for the tiniest things. He would build up anger on the inside without showing it and then explode in one big burst. Not a cool person at all.
I would frequently get B's on his tests, even when I had answered every question correctly, because he takes off so many points for "not showing work." He once took off points because I didn't draw the little triangle and write out the pythagorean theorem when finding the third side of a right triangle. This was in HONORS PRECALC. That kind of grading defeats the purpose of learning math.
sometimes he takes of points for things that i dont think matter... very picky about notation for EVERYTHING so watch out. aside from this, great teacher, nice guy.
Mr. G is one of the nicest teachers in the school. His PreCalc H class is tough, but he's really good at getting the concepts through to you. Prepared me well for AP Calc. YA XC!
Not always particularly engaging or interesting, but I learned a lot. Explains topics well and is very methodical, which makes complex ideas easy to comprehend.Grading can be hard
If you're reasonably decent at math, you'll do fine in his class. If you try enough, no matter what your level, you'll get at least a B. Good teacher.
Great teacher! Easy to go to when help is needed. Always clear with the goals of the class. Easy to get along with.
A pretty good teacher. I find Pre Calc H impossible, though. Fast grader.
I'm really kind of puzzled with him. Sometimes he's nice and then sometimes he has major anger management issues.
A good person and a good teacher. Very mysterious. I know NOTHING about him personally except that he likes the Bucks and 24. Would not let me move his exam.
the organization of the class is great. he is very willing to help at any time. his teaching style is fair and encouraging
His teaching is fair and honest. He is willing to help. He is not someone you would want to go to a cocktail party with though. But boring works for math.
Well, I'm glad to see my dad got a good rating as a math teacher. Not only is he an excellent mathematician, he's a great dad as well. Thanks Dad! Love, pi.
A good math teacher that makes hard subjects easy for you. If you try hard in his class you will do well
