I took honors world history with many people saying how tough it was going to be. If you can keep your notes somewhat organized, do your HW, and study a bit each day, you'll be fine. Finished with 105
test were unnessesarly hard, i had more homework in that class than all my other classes but together (2 honors, rest standard) and we didnt learn a single thing in class...
This was a huge jump from middle school. I’m a freshman in college now, and my college history classes are not that hard. She’s great, but her test are ridiculously hard.
Rorie is a vapid, merciless bore; her class requires more memorization and stress any freshman should have to deal with. Avoid her class at all costs!
Mrs. Rorie is the best teacher anyone can have at Providence for Freshman year. She will prepare you for anything you will face and is very open to question and is very nice ask her to slow down
Probably my favorite teacher ever. You have to work super hard, but you learn a lot about how to study and about history. She's nice and gives extra credit too.
One of the hardest classes you can take at the age level, but she makes it a lot easier by being especially nice!
The work is rediculous, the class is boring, the details are pointless, and the tests are outrageous. BY FAR the hardest teacher ive ever had in my life. But she will help you prepare for colledge
Outrageously tedious, difficult, and cold. She teacher you minor details that you don't need to know and stresses all the wrong things.
shes a cool teacher that teaches but sometimes goes way to fast. If u like moving fast and studing every night u should have her. I also think she should have less testes though but good think is each
Nice and helpful -yes. Hours a night spent just for her class -like 4! Test are insanely ridiculously difficult. If you absolutely LOVE history, go for it.
Hardest teacher I've ever had. She's nice, funny and teaches a great class, but her tests are ridiculous. Change classes if you're not willing to study hard every night.
Mrs. Rorie was definitly one of the most difficult teachers i have ever had. But i learned so much from her and i respect her. She helped me out alot my freshman year.
Ms Rorie is so great! it was such a suprise though, to have her as a freshman-when she tells you to study, STUDY!! its a very challenging class, but it is fun!
I love Ms Rorie! That is why I've had her twice... the two hardest classes I've EVER taken in high school... she's great though
VERRY DIFFICULT TEACHER, But teaches good study habbits for collage
wow, ms rorie is one of the hardest teachers that i've ever had. but she's also one of the nicest. if you love history, you'll enjoy the challenge.
