One of the greatest teachers I've ever had. Man was full of wonderful (true) stories along with all the content he had to help us learn. Was able to explain things in a very clear way, eve though IB HOA is not an easy class sometimes. Topics this year is so much easier because of him. Was honored to be the last class Mr. B had before he retired :)
By far the best history teacher I have ever had. He is amazing at explaining complicated subjects in an understandable fashion. His ability to grab the whole classes attention and to provide media to demonstrate areas of history made his teaching even better. I definitely will miss sitting in his classroom.
One of the greatest teachers at GCM. He isn't considered a legend for no good reason. His awesome teaching skills combined with great personality really makes him an amazing character.
Absolutely amazing teacher... I'm in college now and am still finding useful a lot of what he's taught me. Aside from being the nicest man ever, he's extremely thought-provoking and intelligent.
Insightful and open minded, Boutchard is one of the best teachers I've ever had. He challenges his students and provokes interesting conversations in the class room. GCM is lucky to have him.
Cool personality (too hippie-liberal), interesting and thought-provoking for anthropology, but terrible for HOA (I had Robinson but had friends who had Boutchard). Hard grader.
He's great... But he's a hard grader espescially for TOK
he is one of the best teachers that i've ever had. He really cares about his students and he knows what he's teaching.
Another great teacher who will prepare you for college. Kids, his kind of work is what you'll see in every class your freshmen year. Not easy but worth it.
I had him for History 10 years ago and he was probably the best teacher I've ever had at Marshall.
If you're conservative in the least, being in his class is awkward.
He's cool. He doesn't teach enough about warfare, but then again what teacher does? Atleast he likes Hogan's Heroes!
