Conejo Valley Unified School District
People are snobby and rich, but the education opportunities are amazing.
Really crappy kids. Super conceited and entitled
I am a freshman (class of 2020!), and I honestly do not think I could have had a worse school year. The counselor I had was awesome, but the people in the office are extremely rude to you. People that go to Westlake are often cocky, upper class white kids. Every time I walk into that school, I feel as if I cannot break out of my comfort zone. I only liked one teacher there (band). My english teacher hates me, my math teacher is rude...Very excited to start at Thousand Oaks High School next year.
A extremely stressful school.
I mean like a bunch of the students are just entitled rich kids but other than that it's a good school, nice campus and staff
The only positive thing I can say about Westlake is that it has good academics. However, doing any sports I was verbally abused constantly and got in trouble when I tried explaining to the district. Never got a refund for my bus and basically if you're not rich or white you're not going to be liked here.
This school really only cares about money , not the student. They employ teachers who really shouldn't be teaching. They care about Westlake highschool more than the students who go to it.
Westlake is an average school with good academics but ZERO school spirit which really really sucks. Good wifi, but it's really annoying to have to log back in every time you turn off your phone. The library is closed a lot of the times i actually need to use it and the librarians are kinda mean, but I've never witnessed any bullying which is good. They need better Chemistry teachers. I love the close proximity to the Promenade, it's really convenient. Overall i'd say Westlake is a nice place
