  • Love him...he inspired me to pursue chemistry as a major in college and now I have a PhD in Materials Science. The interest in science started in his fun and unpredictable class.

    Heard he's retiring AGAIN. Maybe this time for good. Who will take his place teaching hand-picked students and screaming about fellow teachers by name. No one I hope

    Had Mr. Brooks in late 1970s - I, a terrible chem stdt, didn't fare well in his class ("crapped up") but he was always unfailing polite 2me & encouraged me all the time. Chalkpr pants yet? lol 240drs
