He's quite the big dog teacher. However, he seems to be very old-skool in his ways and tends to remain an eccentric figure. I don't know what to make of him, but hey, I have an A in his class.
One of the nicest men you'll ever meet, he truly cares for all his students, but he's not the greatest teacher. I remember coming into the program excited that one day I'd be able to play under his direction. However if it weren't for POPS I'd have quit a long time ago, I used to love band, but I now dread going everyday.
People may say that Mr. Webb has favorites, and that may very well be true, but those that don't fall into that category certainly deserve the lesser status. He is an incredibly honest, fair and approachable teacher and anyone who genuinly dislikes him simply has an attitude problem. He may not be perfect but he is an acomplished and competent teacher and a fine human being. His tangents and life lessons don't detract from the classroom experience but rather they enhance it. A fine band director.
his entusiasim for life shows in his teaching. Everything from his sweaters to jokes are valuable. His choice of music is unchallengeable.
Usually I like Mr. Webb, but the tangents can definitely get annoying. Band is amazing, though, and well worth any small annoyances. Hooray for POPS!
He tends to go off on tangents a lot, or tell you things that you don't really care about. Other than that, he is an ok teacher.
One of the worst teachers I have ever had, he has favorites and is not helpful to any extent
He is a great person and genuinely cares for each of his students.
