She is a very strict and somewhat hard-to-approach teacher but she is very knowledgeable and intelligent with the subject(s) she teaches. I had her both AP Chemistry and Honors Physics and honestly, she was one of the nicest most helpful teachers Ii've had. She was even willing to come in on Saturday to help us if we needed it. I think she will challenge you as a teacher but you will learn a lot.
Are you rating the English teacher named Richter or the Science teacher named Richter? They are 2 different people.
She is the rudest Teacher i have ever come across. She is not solution oriented, just want to get on with the lesson whether the kids understand or not. She reminds me of my 60 year old science teacher i had in 1983! You cannot help but think that she dislike kids and does not care for their grades.
she is one of the hardest teachers i've ever had! the teacher of the class is your book and she makes you feel like you are the stupidest student in the world!
She's really helpful, but her class is SO difficult. It's hard to keep up. If you don't get Chemistry, get help IMMEDIATELY.
if there was a negative option in popularity i would give it to her. she thinks she is a cat.
she's really not that bad at all, weird in class but she'll def help you out if you need any homework help or questions. still weird though.
Amazing science teacher! Had her for chemistry, it was hard at times but she was always there to help. Challenged the kids and had a sense of humor, though some people don't understand! i recomend her
umm scary, not helpful frustrating, get out while you can
She spilled water all over me for sleeping in her class D:
ughhhh she's by far the hardest teacher i've ever had. she treats it like an honors class and doesn't give out good information so we go into the tests unprepared. i would NOT recommend her!
She was a very nice teacher, More demanding than more teachers I had in the past! She did help to a point but I still needed to have more sources such as another teacher.
Yeah she was hard, but if you ask her for help she will stay with you after school for as long as you need.
i love ms. richter! she may be a little bit of a hard grader, but she's helpful if u ask. She's quite quirky and interesting to talk to also.
ya good idea. why don't you not explain how to do the hw, and then collect it and grade it for accuracy. go away you bad bad person
i had ms.richter two years ago and it was not only an interesting class, it was very easy ( i had a 95+ avg both sem (yes i took honors physics). she went to Uchicago and although quirky is a good teacher.
i guess it depends on the student. personally for honors physics she helps me none. i am always so lost in her class and she never answers my questions directly
Take Honors Physics instead. Just hope you don't get her 1 honors class. Sieh is much easier, sure its more in depth, but not as difficult as regular.
i dooonnn'ttt kknnoooowww whhyyy anyonnnee woouulllddd take this classssssss. she doesn't go over everything
R: knows anything you would want to learn about physics. Sadly most the stuff you wouldn't. Unlike some other teachers she shows real talent.but yes i'm failing
personality wise maybe not the best. but come on. she went of U of C. she's a smart woman. honors physics isn't that hard anyways.
R: The tests are mostly stuff we never learned, and even if you think you did good on it...you still failed. she just confuses me more
the class is very hard and theres lots of hw, but she does collect the large majority of it at least, she also gives a ton of help if u ask for it
I enjoy her class a lot, and she always makes it very easy to understand the concepts, through several different methods.
very helpful, she will work with you untill you get it, the class is very hard though
Explains things after we turn in our homework and then grades the homework on correctness, not completion. Difficult to understand, doesn't explain things well
R: its another math class so realize that if u want to take it; shes helpful in class but when u get home there is often things u are not sure how to do
I don't care about her or her class. I just wish she would learn to teach like the other teachers in the school who get HIGH ratings!
Knows what she's doing, wish we didn't have stuff on test we havent gone over though.
This teacher enjoys giving out tests and homework that is long, and over stuff that we students have never been taught.Life is more than physics and graphing.
She gives us homework that she never explains and gives tests that are very long and are almost impossible to get an "B" if you are lucky R
R: It could be a lot worse. She is not the worst teacher. Although the tests sometimes have things we never learned on them.
today we are going to learn about grrrraaaapppphhsss
ugh, i've hated every minute i've spent in this class. her class is so boring, i can't even stay awake!
She seems like a hard-as-nails woman first semester, but second semester she starts being nice. She's snobby sometimes, but she will help u when u need it.
She's a tough teacher but if you see her outside of class she is a great person. Don't say mean things about a person you don't know! Rock on Ms. Richter
a queen is respected in her kingdom but a scholar is respected throught the world. You are one of the scholar who is misunderstood by her students. you are nice
She knows what she is talking about but the tests are not always comparable with things went over in class. She can be scary. You have to seek her outside class
Her teaching style does not prepare you for her tests. The material is difficult to comprehend the way she teaches it.
things aren't very straightforward in honors physics. you must do a lot of stuff on your own to grasp the concepts. leaves things out when teaching some lesson
