His teaching is okay. But I'm still a little upset over how he respects people in his AP classes but talks over and misinforms people in regular classes. This gap = why achievement gaps exist.

Great at communicating and explaining the material, so you know it right after class, but didn't ever hold us accountable for knowing it later, so we all forgot. Don't get too worked up if you disagre

he is the best teacher I've ever had! we love him because everyone can get an A in that class, But NEVER trust a thing he says about history, it's most likely wrong unless it's from the textbook.

You won't see that many high school teachers like Mr. Acome. I had him for Civics and Economics in '05-'06 and the materials I learned from him was more helpful than what i learned from AP Gov.

Wonderful teacher. Unfortunately, I only had him for one year while I attended East, but he was by far one of my favorite teachers. He has very strong political views, and puts people in their places.

Possibly the best teacher I've had at East. Acome is thought provoking ( always plays devil's advocate), passionate about the subjects, and most of all honest.

Acome was one of the best teachers I ever had during my 4 years at East. His right winged antics push students to really come up with good arguments. He doesn't preach, he provokes.

I miss Acomes Class too! Deep down I think he hates East as much as I did. Who wouldn't? There's a certain lack of matter between the ears of East Students.
