He's a great guy and all, but this whole "group" learning thing and "ask your teammates" really doesn't work out for me if the group doesn't understand or care... and we didn't really pick our own groups. so if you fall back on one day, then second day, and the third day, most likely it will be hard to catch up. And I've always been really good at math. Just not my learning style, because he only teaches us like 5min (one example) and then *poof* off we go. *poof poof* fails the ap exam
Easily one of the most dedicated teachers in the district. A lot of people think the class is difficult, but trust me, its much, much harder in college. Use your time in that class wisely, he will stay and help you if you ever ask.
He gives a workload of work, almost everything in his class is super hard and confusing. If you're strong in math, you'll love him. For others, we appreciate his efforts in preping us for the exams. It's okay if you don't pass though, you're likely to still take a math class in college anyway. Good luck in AP exams!
Mr. Solis is one great math teacher. His explaining can be somewhat confusing, but come on it's calculus. He try to supplement many study guide and extra exercises to help you pass his exam and the AP exam. If you take his class and fail the AP exam shame on you. With minimum effort you should be able to get at least a 3 on the AP exam. He prepare so well for it if you fail, good luck in the future. No matter how bad you're at math he will help you. in return, pass the AP.
