Have him as a study teacher and yells somewhat. To the people who said he minuses one point per missing homework: EVERY MATH TEACHER at our school does that--just ask them.

he's not a good teacher but not as bad as people say. he gets frustrated and yells too much, but a LOT of teachers do, so i dont get why everybody picks on him specifically. its true that he only want

You have to be good at math and already understand some of the material to do well. He goes on random rants and can't explain stuff but is okay as a person.

Terrible. Worst math teacher I have ever had. I am bad at math and even I was able to correct him sometimes. He gave me an F+ one term even though I did not deserve it at all. He caused many of my friends to be kept back or take reachback. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS

Even though he can and will teach you how to tango, math is a different story. Most students fall alseep during class from sheer boredom, but he is always available for extra help in the morning.

Mr. Luis cannot teach math because he is a physics teacher and has not adjusted well. I had him two years and both were awful. He is difficult to talk to and does not listen to students, unless theyre 36Cs with short skirts and begging for a better grade. He does not teach and gets wrapped up in one problem from the homework that will take him the whole period. He'd test and re-test when the whole class failed, and then he'd be mad because we were behind the other classes. great dancer, bad math teacher.

Even though the sylabus says HW's count for only 10% of your grade he will take a POINT off of grade for each missed HW. I had an 89 test average and failed.

Alex is a nice guy, but in terms of teaching, he's an imbecile. He never clearly explained anything to us, and most of the time wouldn't slow down his lectures.

This teacher basically reads straight out of the book. He is bias towards the good students and attempts to stir up trouble. Enjoys talking about SALSA all day.
