HUGE WORK LOAD. But most kids pass around binders or work together, so it's not that bad. She is very knowledgable and pretty funny, although on most days the class is very dry. I averaged D's on all her tests but she provides so many packets and EC that it easily balanced out to a ninety-three. Go for AP Bio; you'll sort of enjoy it...

I think this class is a waste of my life. She teaches one thing one day and something totally different the next. And she doesn't even teach good. I have learned nothing in this class. WORST CLASS EVER!!

By far the hardest class I took in high school, but excellent preparation for college study of Bio. Try to actually do well on her tests rather than relying on extra credit, as I did. And try not to let her voice drive you insane.

The hard tests were balanced out by assignments. Great teacher. Everyone in my class that I talked to got a 5 on the AP exam.

Her tests were mass slaughters of the class, but she gave so much extra credit. I was so prepared for the AP test. APed out of my entire freshman year bio in college. Eight hours!

Mrs. Thornton is a really great teacher, but the workload of the class is kind of rough. I recommend it to kids who can handle lots of packets.

She was easy, but she had a bad temper, she didnt care about her student's feelings, and she didnt really try to help their grade if they struggled.
