Class can be sometimes boring and there are lots of quizzes, but you will learn a lot, and that's what the point of the class is.
She's not as bad as people say. People just don't like her because she conflicts her emotion with the class. If she's feeling happy it's a great and fun class! If she's not, brace yourself amigo. It's probably the most generic language class I've taken, which is good considering our language department. Hang in there until you get Hache or Kniff.
Not the best teacher I've had. Boring and non relatable. She uses an online textbook that does not work more than half the time, and announces unit tests literally the day before the actual text.
I learned a lot more than from my previous teacher and I had a lot of material clarified even though I came in with previous Spanish knowledge.
Sra. Pagura is a pretty good teacher. She gives a lot of tests. One thing we don't do in Spanish class is actually speak it! Spanish is kinda hard and we spend hardly anytime going over the lesson. Each day we take 15 mins. to go over homework,15 mins. to go over quizzes, 10 mins. doing nothing, and 20 mins. of class time. The class has gotten me to learn a little bit, but I feel she can review the content more.
Ok I don't get why people are saying she's boring her desperation for men is very entertaining
Honestly, I don't know why people are giving her negative reviews. I learned SO MUCH from her. If you are willing to learn, then you will go far in her class. Always keep an open mind and do her homework. If you complete her work, then you are guaranteed to get an A in the class. Don't be lazy, and actually try... It's not hard, if you want help then just ask her your questions after school. I actually learned a lot from her class, and now I feel comfortable with Spanish...
Extremely nice and caring. Super willing to meet with you for extra help whenever you need it!!!!!! I loved having her!!!!
Great teacher had her for 2 years. Favorite of all time
Senorita Pagura is strict when it comes to fooling around in class. She is helpful to the students but is not always clear in what she says because we dont understand Spanish in the first place.
shes cool you know, good teacher. Had her last year and i think shes doing better this year because shes laughing more or acknowledging our jokes on class. she's smiling more, from what i've noticed? shes getting better =D. she also teaches spanish really well. she just needs to ya know, mellow out a bit more.
The pain...I have nightmares just thinking about the miserable boredom of this class.
she gives quizzes every day with only one day notice
She teaches okay, but does not relate to students very well, and does not handle stress very well at all.
She's a really good teacher, but cannot get through to her students. If she could relate better, she'd be top notch.
watching paint dry is more action packed than her class.
span 3 honors is really easy--she just speaks slowly in spanish, so listen, raise your hand a few times, and study your notes for her tests.
