I was in Ms Girouards class so I had him for social studies. I remember me being so nervous to go in his class because I was afraid of if he would call me out infront of the class 😂. Though, he was somewhat nice to me. He would give me a high five everyday when I walked down the hallway. He was OK. I was from California so I was not used to the whole tough humor thing. Though, I could probably bear with it again. He is retired, I wish you good luck and a nice time in Canada!
I had Mr. Phillips last year. I remember that he was tough, and had a well, different sense of humor then I have. His sense of humor is calling kids names, and yelling at them. I remember me being very scared of going to his class, fearing over if he would put me on the spot or yell at me. Also, it's sad because I vaguely remember what I learned. I tried to proclaim this in a simple matter, so that nobody would get mad at me for having a different opinion. I am sorry, but this is my opinion.
Since I had Miss Girouard I was partner classes with him for social studies. But I had a very fun time. I remember him being very funny and always giving me a high five as I walked down the hall every day. I also remember being so excited for Mondays, Current Event Day, to listen to other people's current events and learn about it. He is retiring which is sad, but overall I had a very good year with him!
- Summer, Class Of 2023
Mr.P is one of the best S.S teachers u could ever have. He makes social studies fun and easy to remember and learn. He is retiring this year, although he has taught 45 years he will be settling down for now. The teacher taking his place is Mrs. Scully. He is personaly my favorite teacher ever! :D
