really great teacher. passionate about latin and genuinley wants her students to do well. makes tests way too hard. even with studying, its almost impossible to get a 95
Great teacher. Knowledgable, nice, and keeps students focused. I genuinely enjoy being in the class.
I always look foward to her class almost every day, she's one of the best teachers I have
Shes a good teacher but makes the tests way too hard. Also gives a lot of busy work, work that doesn't really help us but is just given to occupy us.
A good teacher, but she can be a bit of a pushover with students- which in turn decreases our knowledge of latin and our readiness for tests
Allison is passionate about her subjects, compassionate for those sincerely interested in learning.
She is a great teacher but her tests are difficult and out of like 30000 points WHY but she is a wonderful person and really wants to help the students in any way she can
Im not sure what her problem is but she doesnt seem to know how to teach! She explains things in an overly simple manner, and does a bad job at even that! Maybe she'll get better with more experience
OMG!! I LOVE THIS TEACHER!!! SHE MAKES EVERYTHING FUN!! I hope she never changes her teaching methods becuase she is my favorite teacher! she is really good at her job!
THREE WORDS: I LOVE HER. shes awesome and fun! playing jeopardy to review for a test! classic<3
Very nice and helpful. However, she is too easy on us in terms of what we have to know. She also uses teaching methods similar to that of a kindergarten teacher(jeopardy, declension songs, etc). She also seems to spend all her time on the internet(considering she shows us her favorite sites on random occasions)
My favorite teacher in this entire school... extremely helpful when you need help (just go to her). For people who complain that she doesn't help underdogs, well she actually does... you just need to spend your own time getting the help... she will use class time to answer every question asked and she's also very patient with people who are disruptive. And she has a tendency to always boost your grade by 1-2 points if need be. The best decision i've ever had was to take Latin... Love the teacher!
I agree she can be a good teacher and what you call "cool." She LOVES the language that she teaches, and for those reasons I don't disapprove of her. However, she doesn't do anything for the underdogs, if you dont do well in foreign language she will be the WORST teacher ever. She explains things assuming everyone knows what she is talking about, she will ask if everyone understands and before you can say no she will continue. Everyone who voted for 5 for all ratings had her first yr. as a easy grader...
He cant teach! I wish I had a better Physics teacher, he goes over way too few examples, and expects us to learn it in time for the exam. The only way you can get a 90+ is if you are smart or a nerd. Other than that... good luck suffering through his classes and exams. He doesn't make physics interesting...its like hes just subing for us, waiting for another teacher to take his place. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.!!!!!!!!!
She's an amazing teacher, and I just love Latin so much more. She teaches well and makes things understandable for everyone.
I know he knows his stuff, but he doesn't teach very well. Also, I zone out in his class.
Shes a really good teacher, but im not good in Latin, so im glad I have such an understanding teacher.
Shes a great teacher. She is understanding and really helpful. She tries her best to make the class interesting.
she's a really nice person, but i didn't really learn anything in conversation
she's a really good teacher and i wish i payed more attention in class. i was always the last to leave though, and she really answered my questions then. the presentations were really fun and her thursday workshop wrapped up the lesson really well
coooolest teach everrrr! i learned sooo much from her! i love you ms. goldstein!!!! =D
Ms. Goldstein is a replacement teacher for Dr. Castelluccio's 2005-2006 classes. Although she is an easy grader, her lack of experience may be a problem.
Ms. Goldstein is awesome. she really knows how to teach, and answers questions to the fullest of her abilities. I give her a thumbs up.
You can tell that he knows the stuff... if only he could explain it better (and maybe slow down the pace a little?)...
I used to understand physics. Then that man walked into the classroom. Who knew?
Great Teacher... definetely Brilliant but incredibly hard.
very interesting teacher... i stayed awake for all his classes.
Good guy, I busted my work out for this guy and good sweet grades, absolutely a good teacher.
he's a good teacher but class is not too interesting tough. easy grader but hes very impatient and loses his temper quikly.
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. Had him in Freshman Honors Chem, very difficult but the man was a genius
Brilliant teacher, knows his stuff. But very very hard.
Honors Chem with Goldstein was great for those who wanted to learn...hard for those who liked to sleep in class...
One of the worst teachers at bxsci. He refused to write me a rec for a summer program even when I got an A on his midterm. He ruined any interests I ever had in chemistry.
