I aced my AP exam thanks to Mrs. C. College calc was a breeze thanks to Mrs. C. I disagree with her benediction of Penn State quarter backs, but on all matters mathematical, I was fortunate and lucky to have her as my instructor.
I had Ms Colbaugh for AP math in 1996; she was one of the best teachers I've had. She was tough, very knowledgeable, funny, and she taught the purpose for the method as well as the content itself. Calculus in college was a breeze thanks to her. I don't know any student in that class that didn't pass the AP exam that year. I was fortunate enough to take her class the year prior to her surgery, which surely must have affected her attendance in subsequent years.
Tough teacher, but she knows what she is doing and really prepares you for college
Not an approachable one. It took college to realize calculus is fun. Avoid her!
If you get an A in her class, you will ace all your college math classes-I did!
Great teacher; closest to college progf you'll get in HS.
maybe the hardest AP class, but worth taking if you keep up
She is awesome, one of my favorite all time teachers.
HARD! She's sick and moody a lot. When not, she has a great personality.
Ready and willing to help you if you're willing to try. Nothing free.
very intelligent, but too impatient and extremely tough grader (Col. Algebra)
Her teaching style took a math-hater to get a B.S. in engineering, loved her!
made college calc a breeze, smart women, love her honesty
Miss one assignment and she doesn't like you. Didn't like reexplaining herself.
hard precalc experience--she doesn't mix her nice personality with her tests!
Clearly stated the what was needed to get a good grade in the class.
skip her calculus course and go straight to Moorpark! much better!
