I think Mr. Johnson has been totally misrepresented here as a teacher. Although I agree that he is a little crazy and sometimes too much, I learned a lot from his class. As a teacher, he is very smart. He is also excellent when you need help outside of class. Overall, good teacher.
Very smart guy but a little mentally unstable. That's okay though! As with most, I had him as a sophomore and I can truly say that he taught me math better than any teacher I ever had. He puts a lot of effort into his lessons, is extremely clear, very helpful with personal questions (DURING PERSONAL TIME NOT IN CLASS!!) and very knowledgeable and organized. You knew exactly what to expect and when. Would recommend his geometry class over any other teacher's at Saint Ignatius.
As a former student from the early 90's, I'd totally agree with these sentiments. The only teacher whose class i dreaded attending. Twenty years, later, he's the only teacher I now dislike as a person.
All these bad reviews has to be lies Mr. Johnson honestly was not that bad. He was a good teacher and we were able to learn, but it was just difficult, and sometimes he made you seem dumb for not understanding the answer. Overall though, a good teacher.
stop trying to intimidate you students.... we are all laughing at you, because we would drop you in one hit if given the chance.
you can tell he was one of those guys that was bullied when he was in high school and now he takes it out on his students. he knows his math but is a horible teacher. he ruined my sophomore year
What do you expect from a guy who has been hit by a bus twice?
Honors PreCalc was waaay easy. Not so clear in class, but is helpful and nice after class. Not so popular with students because he can get pretty angry and can be kinda weird. Still a pretty good guy.
strange. he makes you feel bad if you ask a legit question but he doesnt know any better. hw is a joke but quizes and tests can be hard if you dont study. trivial interlude is only good part of class
The math department isn't the strongest in the school
He doesn't answer questions...he just makes fun of you for not understanding. This is making geometry hard for me. He practices what he is going to say...
Great teacher. Willing to help his students and wants them to succeed. Had him for two years. After you figure it out, his class is great.
Andy J, Formally known as Droppy Johnson, is the worst math teacher on the planet...but don't blame him, how would you act if you got hit by a bus...TWICE!!!
He teaches, nothing else, dont expect to be friends with him, he teaches and does it well, however 1 thing, gives us NEW chapter homework, before an OLD ch. test!
Mr. Johnso is by far the best geometry teacher evar. The smart board is the greatest.
Reminds me a little bit of pee-wee herman. Don't ask him a question and expect a good answer. I get more confused about geometry every time I walk in that room.
Wake up, you're not a vulcan so stop living in outer space and teach. O wait you'll let the smartboard do that for you.
Mr j is a weird guy but he is a good teacher and he class is easy if you do HW
strange guy, strange style, nonetheless you learn. a great teacher overall
he a nice guy but impossible to talk to doesnt answer questions directly
pretty wierd, but a very nice person. He is actually a very good and easy teacher
