People often find his teaching style demeaning, and this is mainly due to many student's tendency to not do his HW or sleep in class. He taught above and beyond what was needed for the course for his Calc AB class, such as partial integrals, integrals by parts, etc. He taught enough so that his AB students were able to ace the BC exam as well, just not covering series. And here I am, sitting in Multivariable in college!

Usoroh is definitely one of the teachers that takes time getting used to. Many people who hate on him are generally those who don't pay attention, sleep, or not do HW. If he catches one of these people, he will hate them, especially those who repeat.
His tests are honestly just homework with different numbers, and he is pretty easy. He might not be clear at times, it was sufficient enough to learn precalc easily.
He knows his stuff, just don't argue with him unless he likes you.

Very demeaning when you are asking him questions or if you make a mistake on the board. Nearly impossible to talk to if you have a question about a test or homework or class in general. Yells a lot and made precalculus very painful and stressful.

Extremely difficult to get along with. I'd recommend steering clear of him entirely, keeping to yourself, and teaching yourself the material in preparation for exams. I can only hope some of the misery he's inflicted on others comes back to haunt him.

I must begin by saying that many of the comments made by other people are untrue. Usoroh's teaching and grading is as fair as possible. Lessons are organized in the traditional lecture format and, through days of drills, confusing topics eventually become clear. Tests require understanding of the material, but similar questions are explained in lessons. Sufficient effort will allow anyone to succeed in Usoroh's class.
