Señora Montserrat is probably one of my favorite teachers at Stuy. I have her for AP Span, and she prepares us really well for the AP test. She sometimes gives us hard assignments, but overall she's really chill and kind. Also her Spanish level is really high because she's from Spain.

Her tests are brutal. If you get >85, you're already pretty good.

Tests can be hard but she is probably the best Spanish teacher in Stuy--
esp since she's from Spain (barcelona) she knows her stuff.
She's surprisingly funny if you get to know her.

Great teacher! She is actually from Spain unlike most other Spanish teachers who are American or non-Hispanic.

She's nice and doesn't mind if you're late as long as you have a legit reason and it's not lik more than 10 mins into class. She teaches everyday, but sometimes it's hard to grasp onto the things you learn everyday. Most of her tests are hard and like a few are easy. The conjugations really make a difference, even more than the vocab at times. I remember once the test was that bad and she gave us all a 5 pt. curve. Getting above an 80 on her tests make me very happy.

Good teacher as far as stuy spanish teachers go. She definitely went more in depth in regards to grammar when compared to my past language teachers. More than them also I felt she legitimately wanted us to learn. Her class was oftentimes enjoyable and funny. Sometimes though she'd get really angry at this one misbehaving kid. I think that was just my class though.

She is easy and she answers student's questions. She makes you understand the material. Once in a while (every 2 weeks) she would get moody.

She's a very fair teacher. Her tests can be challenging but she teaches everything you need to know. She recognizes hard work and effort and is more lenient with the grades if you do all your work.

I like her class. She's a great teacher, and although she gives hard tests and a lot of homework times, it's worth it. It prepares us well for the finals and such.
