He was a great bio teacher and looooved his sense of humor.
I was in his AP class and I know some kids passed the exam, but mostly because they put in a lot of extra effort. If you take his AP class, just be sure you have a truly solid knowledge of general biology and willingness to teach yourself to pass the exam.
I took Baine's APBio class. He knows his stuff, but his explanations/PPTs weren't as thorough as some would have liked it. Basically, you have to devour the textbook in order to do well on the AP exam. Definitely get outside study materials for the AP exam. His class is fairly straightforward and he's a really awesome, really understanding teacher (despite his seemingly gruff persona XD), but you need to put on your own extra effort in order to get a credit-worthy score on the AP exam.
I was in his study block for most of the year and it was great. He's a cool man that deservers a lot more money for putting up with bigg headed kids all day.
Mr. Baine is a cool guy. I had him for regular biology.
he's all right. i love how he lets us use study guides.
great teacher. i really enjoyed his class. i love his dry sense of humor.
It's a fun class, and he adds humor to the lectures, and the labs are interestin
