You would've thought that the pilgrims would be gone by now but they are clearly not evident by barb anderson. She knows her stuff and sometimes explains it decently but her tests are impossible. Half of her test questions were thought of coming over on the mayflower.

Barb Anderson is quite possibly the worst teacher i have ever had and hope to never have again. Relying heavily to much on her use of a 15 year old textbook, Barb is, simply put, a terrible educator. She is to lazy to actually make real test sheets so she just makes students do it on scratch paper. She doesn't write her own tests rather than simply using some random test she found online that half the answers were not on the textbook. Drop her class immediately.

She is a very hard teacher. However she loves seniors. She couldnt get over the fact that her sophomores were a pain. Often she would let us have an hour lunch and wouldnt care if we left to eat. Totally depends on her mood. Just joke around with her.

She's was my favorite teacher! Ap US was awesome, after we finished the curriculum we watched Disney movies and connected them with History!

Our class participation was subpar because the questions she asked us wasn't really in our reading. She actually teaches like a college class so having AP Euro was more difficult than Brown's class.

I had Mrs. Anderson in 1997, and now I am a history teacher. I remember her being really professional and very personable when you'd speak with her one on one. I was very happy in her class. Rigor.

This is the hardest class in the school. You'll commonly hear that it ends up paying off for the AP test. THIS IS A MYTH. She makes it hard, but in ways that don't prepare you for the test.

It might be the hardest class you will ever take... but it is worth it. The AP test seems easy after her class. Isn't that the pt? People say she is mean, but she is actually nice.

AP history was one of the few classes in high school where i felt like i really accomplished something afterward. I just regret not taking the AP test. Take her class.

Barb's class is very rigorous - one of the hardest i've ever taken - but she's a very nice person with a bubbly sense of humor. She knows her history well.

She was one of the teachers that I found the most rigorous at BVNW, and that alone made her class worthwhile. Part of why I am now a history teacher myself.
