I grew up in Milltown and went to Joyce Kilmer from 1986 to 1991, so my review is in relation to that time period, but back then she was the very definition of 'fair but firm' and was perhaps the most naturally talented teacher I have EVER had! She had such a knack for engaging her students, and treating us like young adults, not kids. My ONLY complaint, is that she constantly moved my seat around, because she kept catching my best friend Paul and I passing notes! ;-) She's truly one of a kind!
At the beginning I didnt care for Mrs. Baker. But by the end of 8th grade I loved her and miss her soooo much because out of all my teachers I have learned the most from her.<3U!
