you can learn a lot from ms. brown, but she is very picky and unfair when it comes to grading. she can be very boring and easily lures everyone to sleep, but if you manage to pay attention, you will walk out of her class very knowledgable.
She is soooooo sweet!! And of course knowledgeable and patient. I just love her honors class!
Of all the classes I've taken at MKHS, Ms. Brown's AP Literature and Composition class was by far my favorite. Ms. Brown is extremely knowledgeable about everything she teaches in the class and is crystal clear about everything she wants you to do. She is patient and kind and dissected all of the material we learned very well. Expect to write quite a few essays. With all the reading and essay writing, I was thoroughly prepared for the AP test. Ms. Brown is one of the best teachers ever!
Ms.Brown is nice most of the time, but her class is a little difficult and she is very particular. She likes your full name to be on anything or else you'll get 10 points off if she's feeling nice or a 0 if she's not. She's very smart and knows what she's doing. She's a fair grader and good teacher overall.
Ms. Brown is pretty sweet :) She grades essays in a tough way, but is good to be like that. Her class helps me a lot on grammar.
Ms Brown is sweet, but her grading on essays is tough. I fell asleep a lot in class because its pretty boring. I like her but she didn't prepare us well for the AP test
I have her for honors english. She has a VERY soft, low, and slow voice, so be careful not to fall asleep! She grades really hard on essays but she can also be kind of a push over, since she's so nice. So overall, if you do the work and get the grammar, it's an easy A.
Has a very quiet voice that can sound monotone at times. You almost have to lean forward to hear her. She should have a portable microphone with her during every class. But she is good at being quiet.
grammar is the probably the only thing i learned in her class
I seriously love ms. brown! i had her freshman year english honors and she is the sweetest teacher ever! if you have her for honors or AP then you should be glad because she is hard but she is helpful
she is a good teacher. but her class is WAY TO EASY! learning about prepositions at a sophmore level is just not up to par.
She's good at explaning things, nice person too, but I think in essays she sometimes grades too much on grammar than on contents, that's rather unlike other AP teachers.
she's really clear in her teaching and she always helps her students. she has such a calming voice but sometimes it can get a little boring. but she's very understanding and considerate.
She's a nice and easy teacher. She's not bad at teaching, very professional, though sometimes a little boring~ Overall she's pretty cool, she likes art~~
She's really awesome if you participate a lot in her class. She's really nice, and I felt I learned a lot in her class, mainly because she's organized and follows her agenda.
Her soft, quiet voice tends to lull the class to sleep often. She sticks strictly to the lesson plan, without getting personal with students.
She's a really nice lady and a good teacher, but she can be intimidating and her class is no picnic!
Ms. Brown is a nice teacher but is a little too proper and polite. Her soft, gentle voice will lull you to sleep, as it did a great many times for me.
Very very nice, always has a smile. But she's so proper and passive. Aggression is not her style and she's the contrast to Mrs. Kubal. Ms. Brown is cool though.
