Mr. Abb is a BEAST. NO OTHER teacher can be as beasty as he is.
Bill Abb doesn't like smart people who don't participate on class, because he feels like he's not needed, which is fairly accurate as he doesn't teach much and instead tells stories
Hoota Hoota, loved his class :)
Not the most exciting or interesting class, but Abb teaches the material well. The only thing is that he starts preparing for the AP test only a month prior to the exam.
Mr. Abb is great with the material that he teaches. He explains most concepts with the theory behind it as well as the straightforward formulas that you need for the AP Exam. However, I found that his course was not comprehensive in bridging the link between integration and the area under the curve. This idea is integral (excuse my pun) to connecting differential and integral calculus.
From the perspective of an AB student who had no difficulties, Abb will be a bro and understand that you're fine and won't force anything on you. HE tells cool stories if you don;t mind it cutting into class time, though he will usually get through a lot. Then again, it made no difference me
Mr. Abb is quite boring at times and I felt that his exams were quite easy for an AP Calculus course, but he is nonetheless a solid teacher and knows the material very well. I don't remember much about AP preparation since I took this course three years ago, but you might have to do a preparation outside of class if you aren't a natural at the subject yet still want to do well on the AP exam.
Very good teacher, sometimes unclear, but will help as much as he can. Keeps class interesting with stories.
Mr. Abb is a pretty good teacher who keeps in the class interesting with his stories. Although he could be clearer in explaining, if you go to him for help, he will be more than happy to assist you.
only OK as a teacher, but overall I think that he could be better. the book only helps a bit, and better examples would be useful, though he does do an OK job of explaining it though. Still, hutton wa
He is nothing special as an AP teacher, and most definitely is not very good at explaining things out in class, at least before the assignment. He is especially good at leaving out a lot of little nua
Mr. Abb is a great teacher. Sometimes I feel like the pace of the class is a little fast, and he isn't the best at explaining things, but never the less, Mr. Abb is encouraging and supportive.
Great guy, and overall good teacher. He does have trouble explaining things in Calc AP and isn't really helpful sometimes, but atleast he tries.
Mr. Abb, I love you. You made Geometry fun for me, and I honestly don't know what these people are talking about when they say that "You don't make sense". You managed to tie a random story to Geo.
Good teacher, I understand everything in Geometry (H). Not much homework and tests/quizzes are sometimes unclear. Tells random stories sometimes...
Those people are wrong...Calc is his passion, and he does know what he's doing. Sometimes he's not the best at explaining things and wastes time in class but overall he is a good teacher.
Very poor teacher. I doubt he knows wat he is talking about, simply reads theorems out of the book. He wastes a lot of time. Not to mention his disrespect to students, n dishonesty to parents.
Great calc teacher. Very difficult, but he explains things well and keeps the pace quick.
Awesome teacher... somehow he relates stories about is life to topics for learning!!! He knows how to have fun but is not extremely easy. He knows what he is talking about though.
He is such an awesome teacher... i still actually remember his BAIT theorm story. He relates math to real life! He is really interesting and he lets you watch march madness!
He seems really involved in Math and he is always trying to make the class more fun.
mr abb isnt a very good calc teacher. he thinks that he teaches a bunch of nerds who get things right away. well, we're not all nerds.
Uhm. Haven't had him as a teacher, but I've been to the math lab thing a couple of times and he explains things well.
keeps math interesting by tying it into daily life. Stops lessons when people get bored to talk about their lives. don't be late though!
i had mr abb for a summer teacher for pre algerbra he is chill and frosty!
nice guy, stickler for the rules, ties everyday life into math, good teacher who really wants you to suceed
nice random stories...but sometimes hard to understand.
I had Mr. Abb in 1993 and 1994. He is among the best teachers I have had.
Decent teacher, but not the best in the world. His tests are pretty easy...
a very cool teacher, always kind and willing to help in both geo and calc
MR. a-b-squared is awesome! had him for homeroom as well. he is very helpful !
funny guy. Explains well and willing to stay extra to make sure student learns.
He is so challenging and cool. I HIGHLY recommend all of his classes.
