I had Mr Drummond for various math classes during the 70's. His teaching style, while unorthodox, instilled in me a love of math that endures to this day. He made the material interesting, he would push you to achieve your best and told great stories when the class deserved some down time. Sausages rule!
one word- Legendary
WHEN I WAS IN 'NAM *inhale* I USED TO DROP FIRE OVER CHARLIE ALL DAY *inhale* MET ME A NICE LITTLE MAMA-SAN
anybody who gave Drummond under a 5 is a person you don't want to be around.
He really knows how to play the game. I wish one day he will hold seminars on how to play the game. He also has a soft spot for Stonewall Jackson. He's also an avid birdwatcher, but he seems to like watching jaguars more than birds. If I have learned one thing from Drummond, it's that you need to play the game, whether you want to or not.
Mr. Drummond was one of my favorites.
He was so funny with his stories. He loved what he did and everyone loved him. He's somewhat of a celebrity in Andover.
Mr. Drummond is retired now but comes back to sub very often. He's the most entertaining teacher I've ever dealt with as a student. We learn absolutely nothing when he subs, but the class is enjoyable. He likes to talk about SATS, MCAS, and what goes on after prom.
most. amazing. teacher. EVER. do you learn anything about math? absolutely not. but his class is an experience that i only wish everyone could have.
He is a great guy but you will be in trouble if you try to take more math after his class
Drummond is the man.. i love the way he teaches..it might come as a shock at first because he is so energenic.. but it pays off in the long run... :)
Mr. Drummond is fantastic. Unlike some other teachers, he WILL take the time to explain things to kids who don't understand. His levity creates an outstanding classroom experience, and despite what some say, you will learn and retain information from his
Loved Mr. D. He knows me as "Big Al". I'm now part of the Adventure Series! "Al's Big Day!"
Loved the Adventure Series - definitely kept you going through the week knowing that Friday you'd hear the tales...
I had Mr. D back in the 80's and I'm still excited about math. I hated my math teacher the next year because he wasn't Mr. D. Adventure storyies were great!
