As a non art-oriented student, I struggled a little bit with knowing what the hell to do in his classes, but he understood that. His directions might have been unclear sometimes, and his advice to improve may have seen hard, but he doesn't expect non artists to suddenly produce a mona lisa. Just try your best and improve.
Awesome dude. Great art teacher and artist. Really neat history that he does not often talk about.
when he allows you to use ipods, use them to your advantage. or you'll hear his humming and singing to weird circus songs... and when hes telling you to improve on something, its pretty obvious he's saying it loud enough for everybody to hear it.
Mr Larkin liked to pick on me... but he was really nice... he could have been a little bit of a better teacher but i still really liked him.
makes sure you understand, actually teachers you different teqniques instead of just telling you to go make a macro...
Great teacher, but he repeats too often. I have learned alot from this semester already.
Oh he's clear all right. If you don't understand the concept the first time he'll go over it a few hundred more times.
I don't understand why people don't like him. He's a little out-there sometimes, but he's still a really good guy.
