He was an amazing teacher and he was probably my favorite teacher ever, he made sure every student was helped and taken care of, he loved everything he taught about and made sure his students were motivated. On top of having his classes he did Science Olympiad with his spare time, the amount of time he dedicated to everything he loved was inspiring.

he set off fireworks in our classroom, which almost hit some students. he didn't take the time to help us with any of the labs. he was such a bad teacher of ap chemistry that when he left for two months to get a surgery done, they got a replacement who taught us all of AP Chem in less than two months. We even had to come in on saturdays to make up for it. He was high the majority of the time on pain killers, to the point where oft we would tell him the test was another day, and he'd fall for it.

He's a good teacher who teaches the class well and makes it entertaining, though he could good through the material more thoroughly before the tests. So far I like the class.

Great teacher for Chem and AP Chem. we did cram 2 chapters BUT he did a great job explaining the test format and overall was a lenient grader. He made his tests hard so we had to know stuff very well

Gets sidetracked easily, grades tests slowly, and doesn't prepare you completely for the ap chem exam. We crammed 2 chapters in two weeks before the exam. His demonstrations and labs are cool though.

He's a great teacher and the best chem teacher @ West. Many people switch into his class for normal chem. I got an A easily in his class..just do the work..its not that hard.

Mr. Hunter is the worst teacher I've ever had. Normal Chem is mediocre but he truly fails when teaching AP Chem. He is unable to perform without his answer book. Even then, students correct him a ton.

He is unable to keep up with one class, let alone two. You'll often go three to four weeks without knowing your test scores.

He knows his chemistry, might be a little unclear but its still an easy class if you put in a little time you can pull off a B easy.

Mr. Hunter is a horrible Chemistry teacher! He is so confusing, doesn't help, somewhat condescending, and prioritizes AP Chem students over regular Chemistry.
