Great teacher! I have Regular US History and I love it! Your experience with him depends on the class you take, Regular US History or AP US History. I genuinely enjoy the class and he makes the lectures really fun to listen to & I'm saying this as someone who actually didn't like his World History class, last year. He makes history fun and interesting! But if you take APUSH, I've heard it's really stressful, mainly because of the time you spend reading and writing notes, which take hours.
Funny and very nice guy. Really passionate about history and politics, extremely liberal.
Definitely knows what he is talking about. Very eager to share his knowledge. Humorous. Great explanations and examples/
Absolutely love him he's the best
Hilarious, he teaches in a very unique way and he loves to tease his own students. He goes over the answers to the test right before he gives the test. Just read the book and take notes and you get an A in the class.
Really funny and friendly teacher. But he doesn't seem to use his free time wisely. Whenever we have a day without a test/quiz/essay, he uses that time to talk about only a particular topic and not the entire chapter we are on. Often talks about irrelevant material and you need to study mostly by yourself.
Funny teacher. He doesn't teach well during class. His powerpoints are almost useless for the tests. You have to read the book, take notes to do well.
Mr. Irvine helped make history my favorite subject. He's a great teacher and made the subject really interesting!
Mr. Irvine is "basically" awesome hehe Didn't pass the AP test but he taught well. Keep class fun and interesting. If i was back in high school again, I'd take his class again , no question.
Excellent teacher. I was more than prepared for my AP exam.
Great guy, very straightforward class, incredibly funny.
Personally, he didn't help me out at all. He mostly de-motivated me. But he's a really cool guy.
Best teacher I ever had. Interesting, funny, dedicated, an expert of the material. Is very open minded and willing to compromise. You will be prepared for the AP test and have fun in doing so!
I think Mr. Irvine is a pretty cool guy, eh teaches APUSH and doesn't afraid of capitalism. Mr. Irvine is an hero
Mr. Irvine is such a great teacher. He is very understanding and helpful - ask if you need help with the content. Do the reading (APUSH) and take good notes; he's also a great cook!
Don't expect APUSH to be easy. You will not do well if you try to get out of doing the assigned reading. That said, Irvine's a great guy and is always there to explain things or give extra advice.
good teacher. learn a lot. really cares. great cook. take his class and he'll treat you to some awesome burgers in the park
Awesome teacher. He makes history fun to make fun of!
He's funny and liberal. Sometimes he can be kind of harsh, but overall great teacher. Nice if you want to learn.
He's pretty cool, I had him for summer school, I wasn't bored at all... and that's sasying something
he's a great teacher. he attends borders a night each week to discuss and review for the upcoming test. he clears things up when things are vague. class is very organized.
Fun teacher. Very informational, kinda wacky. Willing to spend extra time helping students. Explains information clearly and teaches well.
mr irvine's funny. i had him for apush. he's a good teacher.
Mr irvine is great!... hes better than Miss Lizano, hes a funny guy who makes things funny and interestingfor you to learn. Take him for APUSH.. u wun regret it
he's sooo cool! one of the best teachers i never had - long live the pamplemousses!
