Mr. Kiffe is in a category all his own. He manages to juggle keeping his class entertained, imparting upon them the essential knowledge they need to pass the AP exam, and throwing in fun facts and practical applications that only add to the material. He's ALWAYS willing to help if you're having trouble. Literally, always. Before school. After school. Lunch. Free periods. From 7:00-3:30, he dedicates himself entirely to his students.

Extremely clear, gives assignments in a meaningful way, and is a great teacher personality. He will often go on long tangents and speeches, but they don't get in the way of the class or material and keeps the environment exciting enough to keep me awake. I sleep in every other class except my theatre class. +5 for Kiffe

He is a really chillax dude and he is very reasonable and understands that you have other things to do. He allows you to turn in things in a reasonable time frame. He is extremely organized and his website allows you to know what he plans that day. This allows you to look at the material ahead of time so you can stay ahead. His tests are only hard if you don't pay attention in class. His tests are harder than the AP exam so it prepares you for any random bull the college board throws as you.

He's an amazing teacher that not only taught his students all about chemistry but also its application in real life. He teaches his students to be beyond the national average and promotes integrity. Although it's a difficult topic, he manages to make it reasonable and he tries his best to help out his students.

(Honors Chem) Mr. Kiffe Is a great teacher. He has a great sense of humor and he makes sure that the entire class is on the same page before moving on from a subject. The ion quizzes are like a gift that keeps on giving, unless you don't memorize the ions in which case it keeps hurting your grade. Chemistry can be confusing but Kiffe is available a lot after school and during lunch, he is very cooperative and willing to help. Overall a great teacher:)

Kiffe is thorough, efficient, and usually clear in his explanations. He is calm and funny at the same time. Although chem was not my favorite subject, I enjoyed the class. The only other teacher up there with Kiffe was Borden, who made me love bio...Borden even subbed for Kiffe several times this year...those two should teach together! Kiffe and Borden convinced me to major in bio or biochemistry. I will always remember them, and miss them already.

Kiffe (honors chemistry) is one of my favorite science teachers. Though he does a lot of ion quizzes (more than enough) he makes class fun by giving stories about his life to help you remember things and tries to incorporate fun activities by giving away prizes and things. He helped me pass chem with an A and was always available to help out after school. Definitely better than taking regular chem, I promise!

Normal teachers when asked a question go from question to answer. Mr. Kiffe goes from Question to random tangent to whats going on with his kids to how much he hates other teachers to an answer that never actually answered the original question.
