I feel like she tries not to teach during class. she talks for 10 min, i don't understand. i ask her again, she explains in a sentence, everything becomes clear. lets be honest, no one does any homework that she assigns. She really likes to tease students (bad ones) which might be a little inappropriate. Nice to everyone, pushy on slackers. i do homework in her class :D she hasn't complained.
Had her for a full year and all i did was be quiet and act as if everything made sense in class. I got a B both semesters because i didn't really use the textbook. Plus the quizzes and tests were horrible.
ms buel is nice to you if you do well in her class. she does not a great teacher, and most of the content you have to learn by yourself with the textbook. she also likes to randomly call on people every two seconds. she seems to have her "favorites" and tends to only call on them. the hw gets a little ridiculous at times (we have a lot every night). her grading is a little strange too, she takes off points for no reason. plus she doesn't explain things very well at all
Ms. Buel doesn't really teach. You have to really read the textbook and the powerpoints if you want to do well. She does pick favorites and can be unfair against people but if you need the grade and go talk to her then she will help you. Her tests are semi-hard but she never gives retakes and assigns lots of homework. Once you get to know her though she is sooo much better so try getting on her good side!
Buel is mean was very mean to me at first but starts being nicer when she sees you trying. She doesnt really teach and expects you to know a lot about chemistry before she starts teaching. Mrs. Buel also doesnt really help if you dont know something because she expects you to go in for tutoring with other teachers. Also the quizzes she gives are ve
Ms. Buel is not a teacher you want to have for Honors Chem... She assumes you know everything and if you ask her to explain she just says to go look in the textbook and not to waste time. She gives quizes on things she hasnt taught yet and isnt even there at lunch to help, she just tells you to go to other chem teachers. Worst of all doesnt even gi
Ms. Buel is a great teacher. However, she doesn't really teach; she only reads from powerpoints that other teachers for her. Sometimes, she goes onto youtube to get videos to teach for her.
I love Mrs Buel! she is so nice and fun! she teaches pretty well, but sometimes doesnt clarify. But if you go into her for help she takes the time to explain it to you! shes a very sweet person!
Does not make assignments and assignment due dates clear, unfairly curves grades of some students but not others, checks homework inconsistently, picks on individual students, grades too easily.
she isnt the best teacher, but her class is great. you just need to learn how to teach yourself some information
shes a nice teacher, but a real blonde and she always expects us to know things she has not taught us
lets just say it is a good thing the class is easy with her...
Easiest teacher ever. Can't teach, you have to learn it yourself in the textbook. Tries too hard to be like bopanna by "scaring" you, but then gives you answers on the quizzes. Joke.
shes the worst teacher ever never teaches anything you have to teach yourself
We like her, but the class is very easy. She does not teach unless you ask a questions. Tells us to work and ask questions. Great for some students who work on their own.
mrs buel is soooo awesome. shes a good teacher, ive gotten an A on everything but its because she is also very easy. If you study you will do well.
Her class is a joke. You can get an A, without learning any chem. She is nice though.
shes really nice and there is no work involved with her classes.... we took group quizes and tests in a honors class... she is the easiest teacher at churchill.....
aww I love Mrs. Buel! She might not teach everything sensibly but she means well...and hey the class is easy
first year--but she is a horrible teach when it comes to concepts
