Ms. Quaite was, overall, a good teacher. Since this is her last year, however, she kind of slackened off in terms of actually teaching, and mostly resorted to giving free extra credit points to compensate for the ridiculously difficult reading tests that the class would average 70's on.
She is no longer a teacher here, having moved to Yokum, Texas after her house was destroyed by Hurricane Harvey--so no matter what anyone has to say, she won't be teaching anymore.
Ms Quiate is the sweetest teacher at Bellaire. She cares about you, unlike many other teachers. She is very leanlant about turning in late work and gives 10 points extra credit on every assignment!
Ms. Quaite is unique. From her accent to her wild stories, she's an experience in and of herself. Most of the time class requires minimal participation and you could sleep if you're that kind of person. DON'T put off the 6 weeks assignments. VERY knowledgeable if you're curious enough to ask questions. Curious, murky life history keeps things interesting. You might learn something about morals if you listen to what she says. Love her.
Ms Quaite makes story time fun.
Ms. Quaite's stories! Oh you'll never forget those...Made very class interesting! She grades very strictly, so follow her guidelines and you'll get that high grade. She gives out a ton of extra credit every 6 weeks so take that up when she offers it
One of the best english teachers I ever had. She's insightful and open to class discussion.
I love Ms. Quaite! Her accent, her humor, her easy-going nature --- all of which make the 53 minutes spent in her class pretty enjoyable. I'm going to miss her, lol.
Do not be stupid and cheat in her class. Be prepared to work. Seniors don't slack off to much. She'll get really mad. Other than that, she is the cutest person ever! She grades hard...
haha i had her for advocacy but not english but shes so sweet and funny
I thought that she would be very hard but this is the teacher you want senior yr! Of all the teachers for English 4 she is the easiest. She is very a very lovable teacher. few people who d
THE BEST! And funny too. I remember she was telling us about the course syllabus and she says "....and we'll be ending the semester going through hell with Dante's Inferno". I found that hilarious!
She's so sweet and an awesome teacher. The secret to A's on essays is short sentences because you reduce your chances of grammatical errors.
she's so nice, and she gives you alot of leeway with assignments (within reason). she tries to tell you what to study to do well, and she teaches what's on the test. she also tries to get the class invovled, which is good.
she's so sweet! class can be boring, but she is one of the nicest people i know.
She is a WONDERFUL person! It's just that her class tends to be a little demanding, but you can always pull your grades up with almost unlimited extra credit points! I did just fine and I had her 2 years in a row.
Kind of teacher who gets put on Extreme Home Makeover b/c of the things she has been through and all she gives to the kids and how wonderful of a person she is in general!!!
she's a good teacher. she encourages in class discussion, and she knows alot...she's also just a really nice teacher...she loves teaching, and the students.
Although she can be a little boring at times, she balances it out with her funny stories! She also grades kind of hard but she also gives out a lot of bonuses!
If you are taking AP English 3, then you have to have Mrs. Quaite! She is a great teacher and you learn a ton but be prepared to work your tail off!
Had her circa 1995 and still think she was one of my best and most memorable teachers. Nice job Ms. Quaite! I still remember all of "Whan that april with the showres soote..."
extremely nice person, really prepares you for the AP and college, best teacher at BHS; hard class so be sure to stay on top of things
nice, but too much emphasis on grammer and personal stuff. and the voice!! could it get any squeakier?? lecutures are painful. tough grader too.
she is VERY nice, but her class is EXTREMELY hard, be prepared to c ur first F on a paper
I had her in 1981-82. She was interesting ,but I couldn't understand her being that I was from the North. She was nice, and made Chaucer come alive! Way to go!
great teacher, VERY nice, anything that has ever happened that is bad to one person, has happened to her, sad life, but nice...and class is very difficult...
she is a nice teacher, but her class is HARD HARD HARD!!! she should be easier on us...
She has a lot of bad karma to get rid of... there I go, ending a sentence with a preposition... she doesn't focus on grammar too much. lol
Hard class but very doable if you put in the time (extra credit for early work and u get PLENTY of time on everything). She's sooo nice (unless she's stressed)
what a sweetie..its hard work but shes a nice teacher
v. v. nice woman.. but the class is harder than Mt. Rushmore.
she's so nice and the worst stuff happens to her. vocab tests are killer though!
she is so sweet i cant get mad at her for giving 10 projects at once
She is THE SWEETEST teacher ever, though her work is hard.
