Personally I found her to be rather accepting of other opinions, she does play devils advocate though in order to force people to flesh out and explain their ideas. She is clearly a democrat but i differed from her on many occasions and I felt she may have respected more for it not less. SO long as its backed up with at least rudimentary logic she will accept an opinion to a greater or lesser degree.

She is a very helpful and knowing teacher. IF you need help she gives it to you, with clarity. One thing I don't like is that she doesn't review for an exam, only gives you a study guide and if she had a review day in class I feel like we would get better grades

She's sooooo opinionated and she drives me absolutely INSANE. She never shuts up about how much better Virginia is than Connecticut, and is clearly a democrat. She spends more time talking about democratic parties and I feel like she judges you based on your opinions and beliefs. She's a good teacher, but I highly dislike her as a person.

one of the most inspiring and intelligent teachers i have had the privilege of having. I learned so much from all of her classes and although the tests are hard if you actually put in the effort they are do-able. wonderful person altogether!

At first, I was intimidated but after taking a Sociology class in college, I would take her class any day. Discussions were so much better.

I didn't like the final because it was in groups and I was put with people who don't really care about the class so I brought their grade up while they brought mine down. However, I have loved having conversations with her and can really think in a sociological way now which is good for when I go to college. Take her class- you will be glad you did!

at first Mrs. Buebendorf seemed very opinionated and forward. I really did not like her at all. Now about a 1/4 through the year I love her and she is one of my favorite teachers.

Shes a good teacher but she hates anything to do with giving much needed answers to questions about parameters of topics. She makes class lots of fun and you learn a lot.

If Buebendorf would only have a few more grades other than tests perhaps someone could get a half way decent grade. I went from an a- to a b- in one test!!!
