I truthfully worked my hardest in this class, but I learned through this class that no matter how hard you work, you cannot achieve your goal because that is the way "The Real World" works. Spent my nights crying myself to sleep because this class was so hard, and there was no way for me to improve myself. She is a really nice, service-oriented lady. I went to her office for help a lot, but I still did not get satisfactory grades on the tests, because I was not a good enough student.
she is a nice person with good intentions but assigns too many projects and IS A VERY UNFAIR GRADER. she picks favorites and grades mostly based on that. my test and quiz grades are A's but when there is no right or wrong answer favorites come into play
Earlier, I said that she is a bad teacher. I take that back! She is a wonderful teacher! Great class!
She is a wonderful teacher! I love her! She makes class fun! Has a great attitude! I wish I had her forever!
She started off the year being nice to us all. We all liked her. Unfortunately, as the year went on she started to become meaner and meaner! Then everybody hated her! She only cares about Africa.
Although she was nice she just wasn't a good teacher. She went on tangents constantly and would flat out forget to tell us about projects and assignments.
looking back, mrs muir wasnt an effective history teacher.... most nt history teachers teach their students to 'think' rather than to memorize dates and facts, which mrs muir did.
she is really nice at the start of the year but as the year gets on she gets meaner and picks favorites. DONT GET ON HER BAD SIDE!
REALLYYYYY HARD TESTS AND A LOT OF HW sometimes boring lectures but nice person
she's alright i guess..the class isn't that hard but we learn more about africa then anything else. a warning, she completely picks favorites so if you want to get on her good side, join global activism club (plus it's fun!)
Cares too much about Africa, not enough about the rest of the world(or its history)! Conservative students, BEWARE, its going to be a long, tough year!
she is preety ditzy and not a fair grader but a nice person but makes u feel awkward kinda of picks favorites DO NO T GET ON HER BAD SIDE
i love this class! we have fun and learn at the same time.
ms. muir assigns too many projects- she is very bubbly 24/7, but she piles on the work! Nice person...good with global activism club. Grades tough on easy projects and easy on hard projects.
She is belligerent. Nice but bad teacher, can't get to business. But she's the best if you don't want to learn anything. Lessons EXTREMELY boring but tangents are frequent.
OK teacher, a little ditsy, but a really nice person who is easy to talk to and keeps class interesting. Overall, a pretty solid teacher.
Mrs. Muir makes class very interesting and fun- I learn alot.
Ms. Muir is a nice person, hard teacher. She doesn't really explain tests or projects too well. But I think it's great how she cares about Africa a lot.
I really like her. Even if she's not completely clear, she's a nice teacher who truly cares about you. And plus, she thinks that all writing done in the class is brilliant.
mrs muir is SO easy!! but she doesn't explain anything during class and then expects us to know everything for her tests! (which are basically a joke because they're so easy!)
she doesnt explain stuff then when i try to ask a questiong she doesnt call on me
mrs muir is too hard, gives too much homework, easy tests but IMPOSSIBLE projects, class has no structure & she always goes off topic.
She is rly nice but gives way 2 much HW and is very unclear about what she wants done and then takes off points for you not having everything that she wants
She is specific on what she wants, but bad at communicating what she wants. We always have to expand on discussions long after it becomes tedious and boring.
I have been challenged to think in new ways this year in history
A lot of HW, especially during Europe. The Africa unit was very interesting.
Mrs. Muir is SO vague and her class is difficult and boring. I hate the way she teaches and the way we always have to have class discussions.
Mrs. Muir is ok. She gives hard tests, but class can be fun sometimes.
