overall, she seems pretty intimidating just by the way she delivers her words to class. however, i think she isn't too bad at teaching, although i would much prefer someone else with a better personality. as long as you're not distracting during class and ask for additional help, she is willing to go over any confusions with you.

Mrs Wattles is a terrible teacher. She seems to only summarizes the topics in the class and calls it teaching. Whenever we learn a new topic she just hands out HW assignments that if you dont do you'll get a zero and not be able to make it up. THis is the case even if you dont understand and ask for help. Since she is retiring after this year she doesnt care anymore about studens( IDK if she ever did). I'm just glad future students dont have to go through what I have.

She didn't give us a lot of homework and didn't explain how to do the homework. She would also give us an exam which we haven't learn the material in class yet. You could easily not come to class, read the book on your own (which we didn't even use the book) and be as smart as the people who stay in class.

This is one of six AP teachers I've had so far at KW and she is the worst. She does not put in any time outside of the time she is paid to be there for students and is using as many subs as possible because she is retiring after this year.

She has a horrible, mean attitude. She shows up to school late sometimes. She leaves as soon as the bell rings. She is always talking about how she "has plans and has a life" and can't grade our tests well. You have to learn on your own. Bad teacher.

For a teacher her level of knowledge is very low, she admits that some topics all she knows she learned from the book. This coupled with her teaching style can make her irritating at times. Not a bad person though.

You have to earn your grade (and chem is a rough topic), but she's available every day to help after class and wants you to succeed. I know I'll be glad to have had her once I'm in college.

She is a great teacher. Yeah, you have to work to get a good grade. The people who rate her low are the same people who don't put enough effort into making the grade. She's there every day for help, take advantage of it.

A lot of people don't like Ms. Wattles. But she can be okay if you're a hard worker. You have to take A LOT of notes tho. Your grade's mostly based on tests.

I personally don't like her teaching methods. Focuses entirely on written skills (caulculations) and doesn't teach the actual book stuff, expects you to do it on your own. She's not a bad person though.

Doesn't care about her students at all, plays favorites, accuses students of not reading the chapter if they are having a hard time understanding the material. SWITCH OUT ASAP!!!!!
