I had Mrs. Bell for AP Literature and English III Honors, and she is by far the best teacher I had in my high school career. She prepped me for college and to become a writer for a budding magazine. Caring for her students in a way most professional is what I admired most about Mrs. Bell. She has a way of teaching through her actions and provoking her students to do better for themselves. She is an excellent teacher!
Whoever wrote that first comment is obviously someone who is jaded because Mrs.Bell stepped on your toes. She teaches way more than literature or grammar. She teaches us things that can't be found within the pages of a textbook. She has not only inspired but has received many accolades from students and adults some of which have attended Ivy League Colleges. She even taches at a University on the side. If you she hasn't prepared you for Dasher's class then maybe you haven't done your homework.
Mrs. Bell's class is really easy. She's not a bad teacher, but she's not great. She teaches grammar well, but she didn't help me become a better writer at all. I don't feel prepared for Dasher's class next year. She worries too much about inspiring us instead of educating us. She always gives us a quote and makes us explain it. She needs to realize she can't force us to be inspired. Inspiration comes from actions, not quotes. She should teach philosophy and not english. I won't miss her one bit.
Mrs. Bell was far and away the best teacher I had at Pace High School. She was incedribly knowlegable on literature, and she really cares about her students. She always helped me with difficult stuff
Mrs. Bell is a wonderful teacher. Very friendly and always has a smile on her face. The class (English III Hon.) itself isn't really hard.
