HONESTLY, I'll admit that she is nice and understanding. But sometimes, I wonder how she came to be a teacher. She cannot teach for her life and basically reads us the textbook (if she doesn't get distracted by the many interesting things about her life and travels). She can be a bit ditzy and our class is basically cathy talking about herself and the other silence is filled by the students laughing at her. go to regular
I had her in summer school for both Civics and Econ and she was a really chill teacher so it didn't feel like I was in school for the summer. She didn't assign any homework after school, because we did everything in class. I know people who complained about her in the school year, but I didn't have that because of how easy (I still learned a lot) she made summer school be. So we didn't have a lot of projects. Good to have in summer school, although probably different for the school year.
She's a very cheerful teacher. She speaks about her life to make the class slightly more entertaining. In my opinion, she's not a bad teacher. I've had bad teachers but I don't think she's on the very bottom of my list.
She is the best AP Gov. teacher. She cares about her students and knows her stuff. So many variety of methods- debates, panel discussions, and many more. Exams are challenging but once you take the real test, you know it was worth it. She will prepare you for the real exam and has 100% pass rate. Students bad mouth her because they didn't get the grade they want. Work harder!
I think Mrs. Hebert is an alright teacher tbh. She knows what she's talking about, but her tests are brutal.
I took AP Gov expecting to learn about poly sci. Instead, I learned about her life. Her class is super easy though- do all your homework and ok on the test and you'll get an A.
I'm a poli-sci major, so i thought, hey. take AP gov, itll be good for me.
Then i got Cathy Lee. Let me tell you how much I've learned this year.
if you dont want to pass the AP test, cathy lee is your teacher
She told us her mother's from North Korea. She has too many friends. She's disorganized. Those are the only 3 things I have learned in AP Gov.
Very friendly and easy to talk to. But also very disorganized and you don't learn much from notes. Randomly talks about her life in the middle of lesson plans and tests.
She says a bunch of wierd things like bruce lee is her brother but shes passionate about what she teachers but she is the worst gov/civics teacher on the campus and talks about volleyball w/ her sis
learned some civics. Rather listen to those stories than do book work, makes the class worth looking forwards to.(i did 12 out of 25 OA's and got FULL CREDIT!!)
ms. lee is an ok teacher. she needs to organize and learn how to teach like a real teacher. Her tests are pretty ok and doesn't give that much projects. :)
she is nice but sometimes u get really behind because she talks about herself and her trips alot. she gives tons of projects and in very little time.
"Well, she's all nice and dandy, but..." She can't pronounce names if her life depended on it,"and what not." Maybe she should go play volleyball with her sister
