Nalley is the best. He is challenging and totally confusing at times, but overall amazing. Kinda intimidating at times, but the nicest guy ever. He watches Doctor Who, too!
One of the nicest teachers I have ever met. Is always willing to meet with you whenever you don't understand something or just want to talk.
Mr. Nalley is such an amazing teacher. He is always sure to teach or go over confusing areas in the textbook with clarity. His classes are always interesting and easy to follow. Tests and assignments are always challenging, however, he is always willing to help with any difficult concepts. The class is also very interactive, a lot of his classes consist of the students asking questions and thinking critically.
He's a great teacher, because he's relatable and pretty clear. He isn't the easiest teacher which is good, because he knows what he's teaching and is willing to help. He's a very responsible teacher.
Mr. Nalley was an overall great teacher this year. We had great, challenging sketchpad activities. He constantly pushed our class with material from the honor's course and made sure we knew how to do it. His classes were always very clear. We went off on tangents often, but these combined with his humor just made class more enjoyable. Other than his extremely strict grading system, Mr. Nalley is a phenomenal teacher!
Mr. Nalley is a wonderful teacher who always enjoys teaching math. He is energetic, charismatic, and very funny. He makes the lessons more enjoyable and always conveys the lessons in a clear and well thought out way. The way in which he teaches is interactive and understandable. The work that is assigned in his class is completely fair and never takes more than an hour. His tests are always fair and manageable. Also, to supplement his lessons, Mr. Nalley shows interesting tidbits about math.
Mr. Nalley has really been a great teacher! He always makes sure that everyone understands the material and always makes sure that the class is fun. He is clearly very interested in math which helps make our classes enjoyable. Mr. Nalley is overall a great teacher!
Mr. Nalley was an excellent teacher and I thoroughly enjoyed being his student. I could have done without all of the graphing, though.
Chance Nalley is a good teacher who helps students figure things out without telling them the answers. He's also extremely strict, painstaking, and tedious about graphs, which he makes everyone hate by the end of his course.
He goes on too many tangents, makes fun of students in one class to a different class, makes kids feel unwelcome and uncomfortable because he grades them on how they ask and answer questions. He clearly has favorites and his tests are ridiculous.
a good person and great teacher with that sense of humor hard to find in teachers. very clear and easy to understand and makes class seem easier than it is.
Mr. Nalley is a highlight of the day. He has a great chemistry with the class and is a very eager indiviual, which should be valued traits in any teacher. He's always available to meet with us, he's clear in class, and yes, we go on tangents--but we all learn and understand things. Who wants a boring class when we can have a fun one and learn at the same time? He's always changing things up, and makes math fun. Thank you Mr. Nalley!
Mr. Nalley cracks the whip when he needs to and is lenient most of the other times. He is smart, and knows what he's doing to control kids like Andrew Schwartz and Alex Talarico. Two true scholars of this generation of students who excel in debates at the Junior Statesmen of america conference.
He goes off topic a lot but class is always interesting. He's a pretty good teacher. His tests aren't too bad. One of my favorite classes this year. Not sure how prepared I am for finals but class was a good time I guess.
I have enjoyed my year with Mr. Nalley and wish him the best.
Mr. Nalley is a very good teacher and I need to write 50 characters.
He is the best math teacher I have had so far. He is very funny and makes learning math fun. In years past i have disliked math but I now i love coming to his class.
Nalley is easily distracted but that makes class interesting. Always available to meet and is very helpful.
Mr. Nalley is maybe the worst math teacher I've ever had. His teaching methods are scattered, his lesson plans are non-existent, and for the record his projects ARE ridiculous. He is easily distracted, chooses clear favorites, and has childish immature tendencies. He has mocked students, and has called out his classes for posting comments on websites such as this one, which no dignified teacher should ever do.
mr. nalley is condescending, pretentious, and has made fun of his current students during class. the projects he assigns have incredibly strict and often times impossible expectations that are unhelpful regarding what we are learning in class.
Excellent teacher - teaches through having us discover things. Often answers questions with questions to help us understand rather than spitting out the answer.
