Great teacher and a great person. 11/10
My daughter had Romero for English and he asked her to stop raising her hand when she knew the answers, then moved her to the back row (where she stopped participating because of him). Shoving a smart student in to the back row on purpose and asking them not to participate is improper conduct for a teacher, and goes against everything a good teacher should strive for.
Fuel the learning fire, do not put it out! Stay away from Mr. Romero if you want to learn and grow as an English student.
Very awesome teacher ! The only class I loved. But did pick on people and wasn't fair. Very easy class.
Sick dude. Chill dog. Learned a lot. Can't go wrong with the roman
I HATED this teacher. I'm in college now, and I've never had a worse teacher. He strongly favors either the guys or the girls in his classes, I happened to be the class he didn't favor the girls in. He pick on students for the tiniest things, even if someone else does it, He's inconsiderate and unfair. If you or your child have him, GET THEM OUT! They will be miserable, unless they have a high tolerance for people like Romero, or they happen to be his favorite. Horrible teacher.
I don't understand why people hate Mr.Romero.I had him for English 11CP&he was great!I came into class scared b/c of the things I heard,but he's funny&sarcastic!He grades hard if u r disrespectful.Treat him w/respect&he will treat u w/respect.Work is easy.Gives lots of work Sem1,but little work Sem2.Work is hard if u don't listen to instructions&don't check web.Key to pass is don't talk out of turn,be respectful,show interest,save ur passes,do ur hw,d-logs,&projects,check his web&participate.
Many people don't like Mr. Romero, but I do. He is a very sarcastic person. Although his tests may be hard at times, all he wants is best for his students. He truly does care. He wants you to be successful. I am so greatful for that.
It is one thing to have a teacher that won't help you, but it is another to have a teacher that shows you such little respect you might as well be the rats that have infested his room.
You don't do anything in his class. He picks favorites and picks on everyone else
Don't listen to these other students. I am in his class and he is not strict if you stay at his good side. He only deducts points if you misbehave or violate the rules. Just stay focused. That is very simple. I follow the directions and I haven't lost any points. Do your homework also or he will have to take a Gold Pass from you in order to turn it in late for full credit. He barely assigns homework so his class is very simple if you just follow the directions.
Picks on kids and calls them out on the tiniest details.
Really fair. Treats students as they deserve to be treated. I had fun and learned a lot!
Mr. Romero's a funny guy, but quite rude to his students. His class is easy though, and he also gives you a free 4% if you follow directions in his class. If you ask a question during his class, his answers can be sarcastic and he may not answer your question at all. He's quite unpredictable.
Painful to have this teacher. Constantly mocks students and shoots everyone else down. Takes pleasure in making fun of students, and his ridicule gets in the way of actual teaching. He does a great job explaining things, but is a tough grader.
If you want to learn don't bother with him. All he does is sit there and order you to take notes whilst reading his book. Not a reccommended teacher, switch out if you can.
Always an interesting discussion, I love his class. Fun topics and class participation discussions. Never a dull moment with Ro Dog
The stupidest class I've ever taken. Every day consisted of, "Open your book to this page and take notes." If you like busy work, you'll like him. If you like to learn, you won't.
had him all 4 years. good. keeps u motivated. doesnt assign a lot of work, bad for when u get to college.makes class fun and is always smiling.
What a guy! He's the coolest cat in town!!! Never a dull moment with the Rome Mann!!!!
Keeps students interested/awake by having them discuss interesting issues for class participation points.
