The class is insanely easy but impossible at the same time. When he's actually teaching the class is fine and the material is easy to understand but half the time to balance out the absurd extra credit (ended junior econ with a 112%) he openly tells the class he is giving a quiz or test on something he hasn't taught in order to lower everybody's grade. Also, the kids correct the stuff in class when he reads out the answers, so if some nitwit is correcting your quiz you'll get a worse grade. Ugh
cares more about the musical than actually teaching people
Amazing and inspiring
I graduated from Memorial in 2001 and now teach high school social studies in the Milwaukee area. Andacht is an excellent economics teacher, and his classroom management is awesome. Definetly inspired me to become an educator.
He always gives opportunities for extra credit and his classes are never boring.
Best teacher I've ever had. I still use the info I learned in Econ. Wasn't text book and that's why you remember it years later. Friends still talk about it, great teacher, unorthodox but great.
Don't know how he grades. But looking back I really learned a lot last year in AP Econ and during Combined. It has definitely helped in College
I can't understand how we're graded - nobody would pass the course! Does not adequately teach material and lacks a professional demeaner.
His classes are hard, but nobody can deny the fact that everyone actually learns in his classes... him and burke's classes are the most rewarding
Excellent teacher when he wants to be. Other times, leaves students confused as they try to decipher new material on their own with no guidence.
Good when he wants to teach-ie not during XC, track or musial
