He was a very good teacher. People complain because he did not "help" alot. News flash, he taught an AP class. He expected you to read on your own, and be able to do your own work. Definitely helped with my studying habits in college. I owe him a lot for that.
Dr. Green (or should I say Mr. Green - he's only a chiropractor, not a PhD/MD) is insightful, but he doesn't really teach. His class is incredibly boring, so just be prepared to write a lot of boring and pointless essays and if you're taking an AP class, make sure you buy the Barrons review book at the beginning of the year in order to prepare for the exam.
He's intelligent but not a good teacher. He gave us one essay to write in the beginning to "test our capabilities" and w/e score you received was basically your final grade in the class. The rest of his assignments either kept your grade the same or brought you down tremendously. He left the students to lecture the class about the books he assigns so obviously the knowledge that is being given is limited to that of a highschool student which, I say personally, is not elevated.
Best Language arts teacher I ever had! He understands the books he assigns as if he was right next to the author that wrote it(age joke). Also very witty, so don't mess w/ him or he will get you back.
I really do enjoy Dr. Green, but if he does not find you intellectually stimulating, he tends to put you down. My advice? Go to him at lunch, etc etc and get as much help ! Very good asset to have.
Hes just ok. Not very helpful and talks down to some students. A chiropractor is not a real DR. He cant even write a perscription..
Easy to like at times.. I HATE peer editing, it's not helpful, grammar pages were bloody useless..frustrating. loved the satire stuff. Was a chiropractor, that's why he's a Doctor.
I didn't learn anything from MR. Green. He was condescending and looked down on us. He was conceited enough to require everyone call him DOCTOR. He's never cracked my back, so it's only MR. from me.
He was nice and funny, if you have brains, but I didn't learn a whole lot. I learned enough to pass the class, but I don't think it was because he really taught me anything. Don't expect to learn a lot, it's mainly busy work.
I love Doc! He's hilarious if you're intellectual enough to understand him.
He's very helpful if you ask, but u gotta ask. He's really funny if u have a brain.
He's alright, but kind of wierd. Don't expect to learn too much -- just do your work and get out.
