Mr. Wenstrand has a very relaxed class, which has it's pros and cons. The work load isn't heavyso it's an easy class to balance with other courses, but you really don't learn much. He goes off-topic so if you're in his class don't expect to become knowledgeable in US history. It sets up a weak foundation for Civics/AP Government. There also aren't a lot of points, so tiny flukes can devastate your grade (Example: 10 points = 7% change in grade). His tests are close to the book.
Wenstrand is a really cool guy and he sounds like a good family man too. He doesn't lecture very often, but when he does, it's interesting for whoever is actually into the topic. I'm sure it's really boring for everyone else. However, he can really see the big picture in situations which is really nice. Overall good guy and a good class to chill in.
The class is easy and we have fun conversations, but I learned barely anything. His lectures are very dull. He's a cool guy, though.
Made civics super easy because half the time he would just tell random stories. When he actually does teach, he's pretty smart.
Anyone who knows Wenstrand can easily point out that he hates teaching civics. During class he's always showing us pictures of places he's been to. One day he told us to just relax because he didn't feel like teaching. If you want to learn something don't take this class. I wouldn't be surprised if I knew more about civics than he does.
He's an awesome dude and very much into sports, especially water polo and cycling. Civics: Lots of class discussions about current events and he tells excellent stories! The work you actually do is easy, and it's interesting for the most part because it's about your rights, etc. Definitely recommend him for an easy, fun senior civics class teacher.
This guy is EASY! You take very light notes and that's it. He loves bikes and waterpolo, and hes got a million different stories down his sleeve. Other than that, I'd say it was a fun class.
Water Polo, Dominican Republic, Water Polo, Biking, Water Polo, history, Water Polo, Water Polo, Water Polo!
He's very easy, but he's also boring. He is a nice teaching tho.
Easiest class on campus. Is not clear with explaining the assignments and is only helpful if you can get him to stop talking about waterpolo.
I had Mr. Wenstran last year and I seriously think that he was the best history teach ever, he lets you sleep in class if you dont want to listen(how cool)m'kay
It was the ONLY class i had where the teacher would take time to talk about current events! which is way cool, plus his lessons were hecka easy to understand!
ok every morning wen im half asleep he has to come in and say "R U FIRED UP???!!" he always has the AC on and can he pleez stop talkin bot WATER POLO hes kool
he's cool laid back but he doesnt teach very wel i dont like how he organzes hs assigmnts and he basically leaves it up to us. doesnt realy teach just instructs
one of the most laid-back teachers. Teaches us a lot. Very mello cool guy who can kinda move with the groove.
He is like water; he adapts to the situation and just flows on through it. Very laid back and informative. An all around good teacher.
Needs to talk more Clearly, But other than that, hecka cool.
awesome teacher do your work and pay attention and get A's on the test
My favorite teacher as well as coach. If you have him as a teacher you're very lucky! Mr. Wenstarand is one of those teachers that I love to hang out with.
he's really nice and tries really hard to please everyone. he really cares about his students, and it is so easy to get an A in his class
not one of the BEST teachers but he gets the job done and is a pretty interesting teacher, though a bit easy for me
mr.wenstrand is the coolest hands down! he doesn't give a lot of homework, but he teaches good. which most teachers lack
My favorite teacher as well as my most favorite coach.
