Extremely nice, I understand people want 5 to a table and all but she just doesn't want the chairs being dragged away from their original places..
Always helps me find a book and suggests books I would like based off what I read.
P.S. Not currently teaching English
Shes a very helpful and relatively nice librarian as long as you are respectful and are not obnoxiously flouting the rules. Just be chill and she can help you out alot!
she rules the library with an iron fist. don't even THINK about taking that drink of water
she wants her students to do well.. gives extra credit...really cares...great teacher
despite some of the stuff on here, mrs. cowans is GREAT. knows what she's doing, wants to see her students succeed (believe me on that) and has this nurturing maternal quality too
she is a very nice woman. she gives good grades to deserving students and vise versa. the books she chooses are pretty boring, but other than that. she's cool. just keep up with the reading!
She is actually one of the smarter/fairer English teachers I have ever had (considering that English teachers have a reputation to be unfair and well, not very intelligent).
She is not even that talented at english. Ever heard the phrase "Those that can't do, teach?" She proves that phrase. She is very close minded and can not relate to her students at all.
give her a break man, she nice and she tries ( well at least she did in 02) she used to bake caked for us if we actually did well :) her class was sometimes painfull to sit through but we had fun when we could
she really cares about teaching students to write and express themselves clearly
awful, indeed does have favorites and wont accept anyone others view on anything, even your own works, she has her own interpretation even your the author!
Although she's hard, she's incredibly nice, and if you go in to see her, she has every intention of you leaving with a better understanding
Very hard teacher. Spent 3 weeks trying to prove I had plagerized an essay when i didnt. When she finaly stopped looking there was no appology.
