She really cares about her students. She visited me when I was in the hospital the summer after I graduated. She was also happy to look over a short story I wrote in Spanish, even though it wasn't a class assignment.
understanding , outspoken opinions , very friendly and positive with young people
a great mentor ...
Certainly an eccentric. Kids didn't give her much of a chance because she was so radical, but she really does want to help kids learn Spanish. I would certainly say I did.
Ms.Chapman may believe in aliens, but she is an amazing and charismatic teacher.
I like Ms. Chapman, she makes me feel like I can make mistakes and not feel stupid about them, and I've learned more Spanish from her in a day, than what I learned Junior Year, so what if she believes in aliens, she has a right to believe in whatever she wants too
She is one of the most charismatic teachers I have ever had, and she made me really enthusiastic about Spanish. And by the end of her introductory class, I knew enough to get through Harry Potter in Spanish. Woohoo! :D
I am completely convinced that Sra. Chapman is the one of the most insane/ greatest teachers I will ever have. While totally whacked out, she's a great teacher.
awesome spanish teacher, such a conspiracy theorist, but it was entertaining.. taught me some truly obscure swears...
Side-tracked by wild stories, she is a great teacher. Taught us the most Spanish in HS by far.
Fun class. She told great Alien vs Government Stories!
