Mr. Baits seems intimidating at first, but if you participate a lot during discussion you will realize how nice he is! Don't be afraid to speak up!! He wants all of his students to be better writers and readers! Take his class! You wont regret it!!!
Cool guy, but his class is insanely difficult. Students would rather shoot themselves in the foot than go.
Mr. Baits is probably one of my favorite teachers on campus. Not only is he brilliant to have a conversation with, but he expects nothing less than the best from all of his students. His AP Lit. class
Definately one of the best teachers at Helix - his class goes by really fast because he likes to talk. If you get him freshman year he seems like a tough grader, but senior year is easy and fun.
Tough grader, but an easy class if you do your work. One of my favorite teachers... very laid back and easy going! Makes the class really interesting!
You get a grade deserving of the work you put in. If you're lazy, your grade will show it, if you don't try, don't expect an a.
The guy is seriously a genius. This may sound corny, but I hope to one day be as enlightened as he is.
he is a tough grader and kinda annoying with his "jokes" but overall he is a decent teacher.
Best teacher I ever had; because of him I'm now teaching high school English- and I am constantly emmulating him.
Tough grader, knows his stuff, easy to get along with in general, Thumbs up!
He grades kinda hard, but if you go to him, he's always willing to help you revise your essays. He's also really clear what he wants content-wise in your papers, so it's fairly easy to pass.
Good teacher, tough grader, knows his stuff, fun class atmosphere
