First teacher I had since 8th grade that made math fun, interesting, and understandable.
Mr. Solenday is always available to help and will bend over backwards to make sure you understand the material. He is always willing to go over homework or additional problems with you as a group or individually. Funny guy, class runs at a pace that is manageable. Do not fall behind on mathXL and the integral packet. These are necessary evils; dont make it harder on yourself. Tests are difficult but he gives fair partial credit and typically no problems on the test are beyond what was taught
Love him. Super funny and helpful, and a decent teacher. Great guy.
I love this man..in the most appropriate way.
Great! Explains stuff when necessary, funny, really knows his subject.
Great / fun teacher. When I got to Penn State I took their proficiency test and started out with 4 credits for the AP equivalent course.
Solenday rocks the house. He's funny, but very hard to have last period because you just want the day to be over. His class is always fun and we do a lot of cryptoquips!!!
greatest math teacher ever, the ultimate solenday story was well worth the wait, just pay attention, and the class is pie
Solenday is great! He actually helped me understand math (which is DEF. hard for me to do). He's funny, nice, and v. helpful.
His honors calc class was great-he was always willing to go over problems and explain them(something most math teachers say they'll do but dont) great guy
Solenday was the coolest teacher I have ever had. I am now a teacher, and I think of ways to motivate my students by remembering some of the things that he did
Solenday is great! He is funny, always having stories. He explains things well, even when you don't understand. Go to class, he ALWAYS takes attendance. fun guy
Mr Solenday wasnt too helpful when i went away on trips--but overall a good teacher, funny
After very bad experiences with math teachers in the past, Mr. Solenday was a true find. Anyone lucky enough to get him for math should be so greatful.
It's hit or miss with Solenday...generally funny, but always aloof and not dedicated to the students or his teaching
From 1998: He is very moody, and seems disinterested in his teaching duties. Sometimes his jokes are mildly amusing.
