Dan Behan is truly loved by every student, parent, or colleague who know him well-- and that mean thousands upon thousands of us that admire his sincerity, empathy, optimism, and dedication! He was integral in our son's growth, as he was for every student he was there for time and time again.
Where are you, Mr. Behan? A friend said you've been filling sometimes at Siena for Dean of Students and teachers. Please tell us you're not going to work there, after deciding to leave McQuaid! I know you and Mr. Kilbridge is their new President, and you are great friends. Come back then. Fr. C. will be gone, and I know parents that would pay the school big money to get you back. Should they talk to Fr. Reiser? You just say the word-- no one knows your email.
I saw on LinkedIn that Mr. Behan has gone into business for himself. He had faith in my abilities, when most of my teachers didn't. They thought I was lazy or limited. Thanks for sticking by me, Mr. Behan, from 8th grade and helping me get into a great college. I could not have done it without you.
Great leader and teacher. He is likable, bright, and real!!!
Mr. Behan taught me back in 2003, but his lessons on reading critically, writing expressively, and wise observations about life and the human condition stay with me. An inspiring teacher, always there for every student.
I had Mr. Behan a loooonnngg time ago (almost 20 years) for middle school English at McQuaid. He was one of the best teachers I've had in my many years of schooling, and to this day I still appreciate his work and look fondly back on his class
Gone but not forgotten, the memorable, wonderful Mr. Behan
Behan rules, in teaching and in life. Heard he changed careers. What a loss to McQuaid! But I wish him well in his business and education ventures.
I had Mr. Behan for 7th grade English (when he was Middle Sch. Princ.), and 11th and 12th grade English. I was one of the lucky ones to have that awesome of a schedule. Each level was fun and challenging. Mr. Behan is real-- he gets kids to care by being so caring. He's a great man. I consider him a role model.
You've been a friend of mine for a while now. You even taught me just a couple years ago. I only found this page because I'm writing a paper on you...yes I said writing a paper on you. I just wanted to say that you'll be greatly missed at McQuaid, and you've always been awesome, no matter what.
Awesome teacher that really cares about us as people. Sense of humor and kindness, and improves writing more than ANY teacher. Guess he's doing something in business and real estate now- we all hope he comes back to McQuaid before we graduate!!!
We miss you, Mr. Behan. McQuaid lost one of the best teachers ever when you decided to leave.
We miss you, Mr. Behan!!!
Mr. Behan, you are an awesome teacher. Your class is really funny. I like that we have conversations in the middle of class about something random. We get to learn a lot of random facts.. Stay awesome
We were lucky that Mr. Behan came in to teach when Mr. Boyer was fired. We really learned a lot and he made class fun.
The fact that strictness is not defined as a plus or minus and also as an unintentional double negative defines irony considering this is a survey which uses a system of scale to rank said teacher ove
Glad to see that the school agreed with the parents-- that he is the right man for middle school principal!
middle school principal now. he'll be great, but good luck finding an English teacher as good
He said I write like a sophmore (I'm in 7th), so he gets points
Who is the doofus that gave him a 1?! Behan is a teaching god.
