Mr. Brewer is brilliant. Take notes on his lectures!
Best history teacher NA. Read your book and do the optional outlines.
This is coming from a parent. Mr. Brewer is a very nice man. However, I think his class should be taught Senior year. Two years makes a huge difference in maturity, and attention span (level). He mostly lectures. Nevertheless, a great teacher and very knowledgeable.
This is an AP Euro course. He is a great person and teacher. He teaches like a college class and although I sleep in that class often it's really up to the students if they want to pass or not. He's very likable but iffy about his test and it's always online somewhere. This is not a class for your average student that doesn't want to do work.
Gives test the week you learn the stuff
His class is extremely hard, and useless. There is no reason to take AP Euro, beccause you can get a 4.5 gpa without and 4.5 is the maximum. Mr. Brewer overworks his students and tests them on every s
Mr. Brewer can be cool at times, but if for any reason he decides he doesn't like you, he will do everything in his power to get you out of his class. Very big on catching cheaters, even so much as to
Snore fest.....needs to go back to school, not really able to keep up with his subject...lacks interest in teaching. Reflected in his Ap students marks...skip this teacher if you want to keep GPA 4.0
Mr. Brewer is pretty cool. AP Euro was a waste of my time, I hated outlines, but overall he turned out to be a good teacher college wise
If a student wants an easy A find a coach to take from. But if you want to really learn and be exposed to a real education embrace his class - you'll be glad you did.
Mr. Brewer is an amazing teacher. make sure that you always do the outlines and really read the chapters when studying, by that i mean make sure you're taking info from it. He's nice! don't cheat! :D
His class is fun, but be prepared to READ. You need to study for the multiple choice tests and remember Persia (politics, economics, religion, social, industrial and art) for the essays.
Mr. Brewer is the coolest teacher I've had in a long time. He is the kind of guy who has the intellect that can insult someone without them even knowing it, even when he is talking directly to them.
Though his sarcastic tone may often provide for good classroom conversation, but the sheer nature of the class inhibits his ability to be likeable to his students.
I recommend the AP Euro for people who like history. I read each chapter about 4-5 times before the test and I did not even got half of the test right. But just do all the outline of the whole chapter and you should get a B
He is a really nice teacher teaching a really hard subject. The only think i dont like about him though is that if your grade is basically .4 or less from being an A or w/e grade he wont raise it up o help you.
I liked him three years ago. Then i realized that his intimidation and scare tactics only hurt our education. Did i learn anything particularly valuble. Yes, teachers are not always as good as they seem.
i admit he is one the hardest teachers, but he's very nice and respects his students very much he's super smart! he had a whole bunch of jobs like being a dental specialist
he should have never have gone into teaching and all he does is ramble his tests have nothing to do with what you learn in class you need to study ahead of time for his tests
You will learn so much from him and it will help you in future classes.
Brewer is a great guy and extremely intelligent and knowledgeable. His class is immensely hard, and that's coming from only a GATE student from him, I wimped out on Euro. If you wa
He's a great guy and a good teacher. You give him respect and he'll give it back. Just don't get on his bad side.
Brewer is like a mad scientist- very knowledgeable but he likes to push students to their limit. Be prepared, but you'll learn a lot.
Brewer's not my fave teacher, i really hated his class, but he was a nice guy, just too much work!!!!!!!
Sophmores: if you're just going to AP Euro because it's "AP", then don't go in it. Lots of work, but you actually get to learn something. And outlines do help.
Really hard class for me and others-lotz of outlines and reading-sometimes says what assignment is when the bell rings >:/
he is hard, but one heck of a great guy. very smart. very nice. mr brewer, thanks for inspiring me, caring for your students, and teaching me.
He's not very easy, there are a ton of outlines, & i liked him less when i had him for AP euro than now, but he knows his stuff, even if he can talk forever.
Mr. Brewer was the coolest teacher i've ever had! class times were big discussions and he even took us to starbucks once! i've learned most in his class
Think 40 page outlines, due every couple days. Plus, he never talks about the stuff you outline. Too much busywork. It's sickining.
he's hard, but just wait for him to bust out on the guitar
When I ask a question I'd like to get an answer back, not more questions. He does lighten up after the AP test is over though.
His class is hard, but i think it's worth it because you learn a lot in the end.
Mr. Brewer likes to put opinions, which HE finds interesting, across as facts with out explaining anything else.
Brewer knows his history. He also thinks you should know it. Get reading!!!
This teacher typifies an amalgamation of the quintessential teacher philosophy
spends way to much time explainig and assigns way to many outlines
He is a great teacher however 2 many outlines, and hard tests
this guy is way too hard, too many outlines, and not enough explaining
He wasn't a bad teacher. He just like to hear himself talk a lot.
i had a wonderful time this year - and whats more! learned lots
best history teacher I've ever had considering all my other hist. teachers
Brewer is not a bad teacher no matter what you say. hard but you learn alot
