True story: my friends and I referred to this class as "AP Study Hall." That should tell you all you need to know.
Prudente did not know any more about Econ than the students coming into the class. And by the end of the class, the students knew more about the materials studying on their own than he did.
He looks like Dory from "Finding Nemo" and is sincerely obsessed with his daughter's blog that sadly he has.
This class is my easy A. He makes such a big deal of it being an AP class and goes on and on about how rigorous it is, but this class requires so little effort it's kind of pathetic.
I don't really know what to say about him.. He would be a great teacher if he actually teaches....
Mr.P is a good teacher if you make the effort both in and out of class: his classes are freely structured for a reason, and if you're prepared it's easy not only to get an A but also ace the AP exam..
prudente is an interesting character still not completely sure how i feel about him but i like the discussion format it's easy enough to understand the chapter by yourself so why rehash it in class
not a very good teacher, not exaclty sure why he chooses to teach, deff doesn't enjoy it. decently fun class, but students don't perform, due to his teaching "philosophy"
I don't think Mr. Prudente knows anything about Economics. He does not actually teach economics in the class. He spends the entire class chatting with his favorite students.
this guy doesnt like to help anyone but himself... sometime i wonder if he had a heart.
Dave P is pretty cool. As long as you can take his dry humor and give it back, he will like you and give you an A or B no matter what. Class is easy for an AP
Had him for ap econ for his second year teaching it, very laid back class, esp. for an AP. if you do the work (which you dont really need to some of the time to do well in class), you do ok on AP. good class tho
I had him the first year he taught Econ and the only way I did well on the AP exam was b/c I taught myself. Nice guy, but not the best teacher.
I had him the first year he started at Dulaney, and it was terrific. He is so funny, witty and charming. I learned to enjoy history...who woulda thought?!
by far my favorite teacher! AP's not easy but hes always willing to give you a few extra min of his time to explain...and he's just awesome!
prudente was my senior class advisor, he's awesome. Good teacher. makes you learn while still having fun.
Funny, chill, laid-back A.P class.. goes slow, read the chapters and you be fine! Theory is that if he likes you and thinks you're doing the work and kinda know what youre talking about then youll get an A
